We have been regular customers at La Moon (now "New Moon") for over 10 years, have eaten there literally dozens of times. This weekend, we visited again, to find new signage, and a new menu.

The experience at this restaurant was really awful, first of all all tables outside were dirty, including the one I was sitting on, the waiter brought the menus and put them in the table without cleaning it, then we waited for about an hour for the appetizers. I ordered a cafe con leche that tasted everything but cafe con leche, and in the meantime no one came to clean the rest of the tables. They brought us a ridiculously amount of napkins, for just three small appetizers, and while we waited for our food the cookers or staff from the kitchen came outside three times to smoke in front of the customers and kept complaining about their job. It is sad because I used to like this place and the new menu does look good... but the new owners really need to improve to keep this place alive.

Expensive, tasteless food. New owner, food isn’t the same and quite frankly they take too long and are not consistent with their portions. Wouldn’t recommend! They need to do a better job, also there is no happy hour, no specials nothing at all.

Called and went to pick up the food way after told it was going to be ready and I was told they had not even started doing it. Bad service, the food is ok, convenient location

Nice little place in Brickell for comfort food, Colombian dishes and some drinks. It's a very casual place, and I understand it's one of the spots you want to hit after partying around Brickell centre. Service was great, and food was good. Price is ok.

Apart from being "ratchet" preserves in amber, don't even think about coming here if you don't speak Spanish. They actively discriminate and it's a shame.

If I could give this place no stars, I would. After a long day at work, my friend and I went to La Moon- very excited. We get to the counter, and some "man" who watched us walk in came up and said, sorry, we are closed. It was 11:10. The site says they close at 12. So I decided to call the restaurant. A young lady picked up, very upbeat. I asked, "hey are you open..." she said, "yes we are!" I said, "how funny, we were just kicked out." How TRAGIC because I live in the neighborhood and go here often. They just lost a customer. What a rude representative this guy was. I will make sure to spread the word that NO ONE goes to this hole. Pepito got our business and we can't be more than excited. It's clean and it has a lot of customers. La Moon was very disappointing. This is an angry review. Hope they correct it somehow.

I live in NYC now and miss this place soo much, i can't believe i only gave it three stars in my first review of this spot (also, I went like 100 times post that review). They need one of these in Manhattan - it will make a killing.
La Moon Crazy Burger is one of the BEST burgers I've ever had. Overall food here is incredible and the best place for late night snack.

Sadly the service was really bad. I wait too long for everything and its really sad cause I really like the food in this place but it looks like the have change the people and manager there cause it was never like this. Sorry. Food great as always but the service, I dont know.

The food is good and decently priced. I would suggest to get delivery so you can wait from the comfort of your own home. My group and I were very disappointed in the service we received. As we walk in we had to wait for a table for 6 because there were only smaller tables, understandable. We waited for about 10/15 minutes and sat down. After sitting down for another 15 minutes someone finally acknowledged us and took our order. We all ordered food and drinks. The drinks themselves took another 15-20 minutes to come out. We got waters, beers, and two sangrias. You would think waters atleast would of come out sooner. Our food took another 20-30 mins after the drinks.... Overall none of us were happy at this point. When we go check out the server says she can't split our checks, then says she can. After splitting them she charges the wrong check to my friends card, and says okay we voided it out if you dont see it in your account come back and talk to a manager. He's from Utah, so how is he supposed to come back. For all we know our friend could of been charged twice. And the server instead of being apologetic was rushing all of us. I really wished I remembered her name because I doubt ill return to la moon simply because of the service.

I've been here for an hour waiting for my food, and they told me sorry lots of delivery ... don't you think they should inform you of that?? Communication with your clients is key.. maybe 10 tables here max ... Honeslty if you're hungry go somewhere else
