The carne asada was extremely fatty and rubbery. The fried plantains tasted old and stale. Definite quality control issues at this place.
I used to live behind this place in the 90s. We would have it once a week. Moved to a different county over 20 years ago. Any time I go to Miami this is my must to stop. I cannot come back home without this food. Specifically the steak. I’ve tried the fried cheese not disappointed by it.
Good and delicious Nicaraguan food. Excellent service and fair prices

Good fritanga but tough competition with other nearby fritangas
I've been coming here for 15 years, and everytime they change administration it gets better. The people that own it now have remodeled the place. Customer service is there but this is a Nicaraguan Fritanga not an4 star dining place.Food is served abundantly and priced right, you can technically make two meals out of one serving unless you are hypo that eats 5000 calories a day.I believe the owners and some of the staff at least, are Christian believers which even though it has nothing to do with food, it is refreshing to me since they hold themselves to a higher personal standard and it reflects on their treatment to others.Variety is medium but very tasty. Nicaraguan cook very healthy without many additional condiments as opposed to Cubans. There is limited seating inside (5 seats) and they close late like 9:30 pm.
My husband had a hankering for some down home Nica food on a Florida trip so we tried out La Nueva Fritanga. We got a very generous container (enough to share) with pork, rice & beans, platano, queso frito and cabbage slaw. We ate it in the car (thank you COVID) but it was quite satisfying. We also picked up a couple of nacatamales to have later for dinner which were delicious.
Deliciosa comida la probé en un viaje a Miami de casualidad y quedamos fascinados nunca espere que estuviera tan rica la comida.
I would like to send my regards to the new management! The food is great, very clean place and the customer service is great!

I ordered food from this place through DoorDash and they sent me food that I seemed to be cooked from days before. The taste was so bad that I had to throw away all the food. Not even the tajadas were good
Best canelones best service
The portions are large and the food is delicious! Everyone inside was so nice and it's very clean inside. The fish is amazing!!
The Food is amazing, but the attention to the customers is World Class!
Great service! I think I met the owner, very elegant person.
