First place I find so far in north Miami that had good tacos. The flavors were on point. Coming from the southwest to visit this place didn't miss. Would be nice if person taking order was not on a phone call while doing so.

I recently dined at La Santa Taqueria and unfortunately had a very unsatisfactory experience with my server, Vanessa. She seemed more focused on her other tables and didn’t bring me anything I asked for, including my sauces and water during my meal.
After finishing my food, I had to go up to the bar to request water myself. While I was waiting, Vanessa walked right by me and began taking another customer's order instead of checking on my request. I ended up going back to the bar again to ask for water from other staff members.
Eventually, Vanessa did bring me my water, but then she went back inside to talk with her coworkers in a way that felt unprofessional, especially since I could see and hear everything happening.
I believe that attentive service is crucial for a positive dining experience, and I hope this feedback helps improve service in the future.
Thank you.

I haven’t been here in a while and was really disappointed this time around. The chips (totopos) were stale and seemed like they were store bought. The hongos quesadilla was nothing special. Everything we ordered was unremarkable.
The pricing was the most ridiculous part. We ordered ranch waters (shot of tequila and Topo Chico) and asked for the house/well tequila. We didn’t see until we got our bill that they were charging us $22 a shot, which is ridiculous. No where is a house/well shot that pricey. It should be around $8-11 a shot for well tequila, but they were charging us like we ordered top shelf.
We felt duped. Our bill was astronomical for unsatisfying food and we will not be returning to this place.

18% staff tip mandatory, waiter tip not included in this mandatory tip. Pay your own staff. This tip culture is out of control. The funny part is that I recently move nearby and while sitting in there I was thinking that it was a good place to hang out often and bring family's and friends. And 5 minutes later and I'll never be back.

The worst place where I have had to wait for my food 40 minutes for some quesadillas. The service they have is incredible. I don't understand why they work on something they don't like. They don't have the slightest respect for the customer. Two tables and they are very busy and not to mention the kitchen, they can't prepare a quick order.
Great service, awesome food, and a chill atmosphere.

It definitely seemed rude to me that they do not make the observation to the customer that if they park this place they must pay, because if the customer cannot see the notice they will give him a ticket for parking, the truth is one thinks that this parking corresponds to the place and It is not, so it is very bad that they do not inform the client of this either, why you end up paying more money than could possibly be consumed on the spot 😡😡😡😡😡

Tasty food and good service. The flavor of the food was great, I had the only official vegetarian main menu item, mushroom tacos and they were great. Also had the guacamole and liked and the salsa that came with it. Seemed like the chips were made in house. The staff was nice and courteous. Would recommend to anyone looking for an authentic flavored meal in an unpretentious environment.
Vegetarian options: Not a ton of choice for vegetarians but the one they have is good. Probably would make the burrito vegetarian but didn’t ask if the beans were made without animal stock

Be careful with the TIPs!!! Nobody notifies you and it turns out that 18% is included in the bill and when you go to pay they give you optional TIPs from 2% to 7% and of course you don't look in detail because it also only shows you the screen to swipe the card and you give the 7% thinking how little... but when you get home you realize that you just paid 25%!!!!!! of your account, that is, a quarter of your food expenses were left in TIPs!!!!! It's not fair, the waitress should be honest and say when collecting that 18% has already been added to the bill!!!!! in TIPs... Strongly disagree!!!

Sandra was amazing
I used to like this place but something happened with the quality. I ordered the same 3 tacos: lengua , campechano and bisteck. They came very greasy, not fresh. They gave me stomachache soon after. Service from waitress was great. I don't think I am coming back here.

We had lunch at La Santa and enjoyed a hibiscus Paloma with mezcal to start. Perfect combination for the Baja shrimp tacos. Lots of veggies and the sauce was perfect. We also ordered brirra tacos which were delicious too. 5 stars
