Had the Queso frito w/ Guava sauce as an appetizer and the pastelon w/ arroz con gandules as my entré . Both were very good! My only complaint is that I ordered a 3 leches to go and couldnt enjoy it ?when it finally came time for me to eat it, my first spoon full was a whole lot of spoiled milk ?. I'm hoping it was just a one off , but ofher wise i'll deff be avoiding this dessert next time .
Went to celebrate my step moms birthday at one of our favorite spots. Food was overly salty. Server was lost half the time. But it is what it is. I was thinking of taking my girls there in a few weeks but probably won't. I'll try it again some other time.

The Mofongo with Ropa Vieja was our favorite. Great dish! Great flavors! The tembleque dessert was also delicious. The service was slightly off with issues with placing our order on time and bringing us water which was forgotten. I will return gladly. I'd love to give it five stars!

La Placita on Sunday afternoon will fill your spirits up. Great ambiance, music and food. The reservation with open table App was not received (even with the confirmation number they send me). Anyway the restaurant personnel was so nice and professional that they got me a table. They made us feel in the best family ambiance.

Loved it! Came in from out of town and had never tried Puerta Rican food before. We wanted to try something new. Very good choice for my husband and me. The food was awesome, the service was great! The flan was outstanding! Loved it!

Went to dinner with family and friends. Party of 5, right before a play at the Arscht Center. Food was delicious and service too. We had the sampler appetizer; it had something for everyone. The mofongo with pork was soft and delicious. I had the octopus with tostones since I was feeling a little full from the appetizers and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Our waitress was very nice and careful of our reservations for the show. We eat with plenty of time and felt relax with her service. Will definitely go back.
The food is very close to homemade, I'm glad I made the choice of going there for dinner. There are things that you can get that aren't on the menu, so please ask if you want anything specific.
On Wednesday the 12th of January 2022 went to take a Chef from New Jersey that has heard about this restaurant and wanted to know what was all the fuss and news. First want to say the place is beautifully located in a good place the looks is amazing but we were all very disappointed in all they're pre-made food. I ordered a trifongo with Shrimp ajillo , my cousin ordered trifongo with Masitas and another order pasteles was reheated and las alcapurrias Julian so small portion. The mofongo a cold completely inside center topped with hot meat or shrimp, bacalaitos were a joke coined sizes, then I asked to speak to the manager and asked her that I wanted fresh mofongo and she's the one who spilled the beans and said this is not a traditional Puertorican restaurant. So my question to you is why all the decor as a Prican Restaurant so many flags and the amazing large Mural of the flag. I will not return or recommend this place which super expensive with poor quality food. May you correct all the mistakes you guys are making looking at all your reviews I see that I'm not the only one that was disappointed.
Amazing little place with a wonderful patio area. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was delicious. Everything was prepared just right and we were well taken care of. I would definitely go back again!

Pasamos una tarde muy linda... como sentirse en Puerto Rico. Los empleados serviciales muy agradables. La comida deliciosa y cervecitas friiiiias!!! No duden darle una oportunidad a este lugar y visitarlo para disfrutar de una tarde como En La Placita ❤??!!!
La comida no tenía sabor, el refresco sabía mal los mojitos si estaban buenos, el mesero su atención muy buena. El lugar muy bonito, la decoración top! Y el platillo de entrada que te ofrecen también muy rico. Anexo foto del platillo que recomiendo ?

La Placita is an amazing restaurant. The food is AMAZING, the staff is friendly and efficient, and there is lots of fun energy- people laughing, swaying to the music, and enjoying each other's company.
