Took an Uber ride for 30 minutes to experience this restaurant and it’s closed. Website shows this establishment as being open. The number on their website is disconnected. Does anyone know what’s happening? Very disappointed.

Excellent service and phenomenal food. I knew I had to stop by after seeing the episode with Guy from food network. It’s a nice smaller restaurant with lots of flavor to give in their entrees. I had the Patacon which is amazing. Definitely portioned to feed two. If you haven’t been here, make sure to visit and have a great time with music and get impeccable service from Frankie!

Great hidden gem in Little Haiti/Upper East Side.

Our favorite chill brunch spot in Miami! Delicious food, addictive homemade sauces/condiments, friendly people, and inviting space. Highly recommend! Must haves: huevos rancheros or ajiaco with homemade hot sauce and aioli on the side. ???

Excellent Colombian food, cozy ambiance and friendly service. The menu has Colombian dishes as well as ribs and some salads.

Parking is very small and a bit tricky- more visible signage would be good from the main road. Great ambiance once you’re in the restaurant though. Service was very slow- they only had one obvious waitress on a Sunday afternoon. Food was excellent. Not sure why they served chicken and waffles separately- as in, chicken was served, but waffles was served about 10 minutes later. Fluffy waffles. Burger was super messy but good. This place has great potential as the quality of food was great, but needs some work on the quality of service.

Phenomenal food, everything we had was freshly prepared and the servings were good. Fairly expensive but worth the cost and the wait. Brussels and goat cheese were terrific, lentil burger and the hot sauce with it were very unique and delicious

Jessica was welcoming and so personable and set the tone for the entire meal. The sauces and seasonings are AMAZING. And that says a lot because the simple traditional dishes can make you think same ole same ole but not here me dear ones.

This place is an absolute GEM! Everything from the modern, rustic decor to the delicious Colombian American cuisine. We ordered the homemade Empanadas which were incredible and the Vincent Van Goat croquettes we're excellent. We finished off with the Bandeja Paisa which left us speechless. The serving size was very generous, each item had the perfect flavor. Service by Jessica was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

I have wanted to come here for a while, as I am always next door. I came in with a relatively large group, and we were all hungry after having a morning event. The service was fast and friendly. We had various appetizers, tostones with guacamole, lentils croquette, and the vincent van goat cheese. The tostones and the goat cheese (honey elevates the goat cheese with the pistachios) were delicious, but the lentils croquette was a bit overwhelming. We all had the guava, blackberry, and mint drink and loved it as it was just what we needed. The huevos rancheros were huge and could be split between two people, the dish overall was great. I do wish it had more of a kick to it and less salt. I also tried the lentil burger, and just like the lentil croquette, it was overwhelming. Overall, everyone was happy with their meals with really the main consensus would be having less salt on the breakfast dishes.

Jessica was welcoming and so personable and set the tone for the entire meal. The sauces and seasonings are AMAZING. And that says a lot because the simple traditional dishes can make you think same ole same ole but not here me dear ones. La Mamá has Saxon in her blood and pulsing in the veins stirs up amazing delicate flavors. I love the coziness, the modernity, the rustic minimalism and the books on display that make this place so welcoming. This is the best kept secret in the Upper East side, not only becoz it's slightly hidden in a tiny cluster strip mall but because the place was empty on this Thursday night - lucky for us but really a shame for all ya. There are rumors that the owners are retiring from the business so get in quick and don't miss the op to experience Mamas amazing home cooking

I ordered via ubereats from this restaurant yesterday after reading all the excellent reviews and my experience was not so good. I ordered the Pollo a la Plancha (which is grilled chicken breast), mild chicken wings and tostones. First off the chicken breast was very very dry and way overcooked I couldn't say whether the chicken was seasoned because it was so dry. The chicken breast came with black beans and white rice and the flavor of the beans was very tasty, the sweet plaintains were over greasy did not eat them. The chicken wings had a weird kind of smokey taste unlike any thing I have tasted, I can say they were good in a weird kind of way. The tostones were good and tha avocado dip that came with them was very tasty. Overall I give this place 3 stars based on the entree being dry and way overcooked. I'm not sure if I will order or visit this location again.
