Food was terrible!!! We ordered pink tacos, a heirloom tomato salad and a grilled cheese and everything seemed like it was cooked by an 8 year old. The tacos has 3 tablespoons of store bought coleslaw as the filling and 3 shrimp at the top. Very disappointing, DO NOT EAT HERE!

We came for a late lunch/early dinner. There was seating outside which was a nice vibe. Staff was really kind, we were served by a wonderful lady who was chatty and welcoming. They have plenty of options on the menu but I was slightly disappointed with the burgers. They were okay, neither amazing nor bad, just okay. The chips were a bit disappointing but the sweet potato chips were good. I do agree with the other reviews in that the 20% service charge/tip is pretty cheeky.

Went in today 12/30 with a party of 3. We were seated and got our menus. 15 minutes passed by and no water, no order for drinks, not even anyone saying that they will be with us in a bit. I’m not sure if it was a bad day, short staffed or it’s how it is regularly. If they could have offered a quick apology and we’ll be helped soon I wouldn’t have minded. Honestly a shame to be sitting in a restaurant with $18 burgers and $5 sodas to be ignored for that long. We got up and left….

We all had a wonderful lunch. My Chip chop chicken sandwich was very good. Please note I dropped the cheese. The Lemonade-mint tea was very good.
The truffle fries were good. My chicken could have been more tender but it was fully cooked. My roasted peppers were good but need a little bit more cooking. My wife complained but it was ok but moist.
Miami heat burger was inhaled by my son. BEFORE he ate his fries. That is teenage for very good. My daughter's Shroom burger was so good she too ignored the truffle fries and inhaled it. Then she would not share her fries.
Server was polite and the meal arrived relatively quickly during the lunch hour rush. It was a touch expensive but worth it for a really good meal. Adding a gratuity is NC.
Parking: There are lots you can pay for. Was nearby. Is a busy street and parking is an issue.

It just to be a 5 stars for me. But the kast 2 times the food taste has gone down. The kitchen staff may need some retraining. Still love the original in

$5 for a Pepsi in a Mason jar. $2 difference between the bill and the menu for their boring house draft beer. I know we're tourists in a ritzy neighborhood, but this place was not worth the price.

Food was very mediocre the only thing that saved the meal was the fries and the lokal sauce which was very good. I use to go there once a month a few years ago and they have definitely declined in quality and staff. They have automatic 20% gratuity so I guess the servers just don’t wanna work for the tip anymore. Very sad to see a good place go down hill.

The food was good. I wouldn't say it is one of the best hamburgers I ever tried in my life, but they were okay. The service was very good. They were very nice. The day that we went, the weather was pretty nice and we sat outside. They also have a dog menu, which I think is pretty cool, so you can bring your dog and enjoy the atmosphere. It is a good option if you're around and you want a hamburger. It's not cheap.

Lokal in Coconut Grove: A Disappointing Experience
I was incredibly disappointed with my recent visit to Lokal in Coconut Grove. The burger bun was stale, which completely detracted from the otherwise decent patty. The service was non-existent, and when we did manage to flag down a help the lack of care was evident.
As a regular patron of Kush in Brickell, I'm accustomed to top-notch service and delicious food. The staff at Kush is always friendly and attentive, and the quality of the food is consistently excellent. I highly recommend skipping Lokal in Coconut Grove and heading to Kush in Brickell instead. You'll be rewarded with a much better dining experience.

The hype surrounding this burger spot is definitely overblown. The burgers themselves were disappointing—lacking flavor and definitely not worth the high price tag. That said, the service was good, and the terrace seating area was decent, providing a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food just didn’t live up to the reputation or the cost. Wouldn’t go back.

Zuni’s Employee has got to be the BEST salad I’ve ever had!!! Exceeded all my expectations like wow!! Even took one for togo because we live so far!! Tati was so attentive and made our Saturday early lunch feel so welcomed! LoKal never disappoints! Always my go to when we are in the area! Oh and get a side of the mushrooms as a starter. Cooked to perfection and takes the hunger off!

Stale burger buns, and the fried pickles were really bad - the fried paste on them was white and half the bowl was salad.
