hands down the greatest dining experience i’ve ever had. the staff treat you like family, the atmosphere is so amazing and welcoming and the restaurant itself is an outright work of art. the food was flawless and delicious. genuinely a beautiful place with beautiful people and excellent food and service; i couldn’t recommend this spot enough. much love to everyone working here and if you haven’t tried lokal you should definitely do that. thanks for reading ✌️❤️

Although we didn’t have to wait to be seated, and the service was mediocre, the food was subpar. We ordered the alligator bites and the burgers. The alligator bites were just okay, and the burgers were a huge disappointment. At the price point, the burger meat should be high quality. There was no seasoning, the meat tasted like it was previously frozen, and the lettuce used on our burgers had brown parts. Also, I would’ve appreciated being informed that they were no fountain drinks because I was not expecting to pay premium for a bottled Sprite. To add insult to injury, we had to pay $12+ for parking for such an unpleasant meal—will not be back.

If you’re a local, stay away. Nothing great about this place. Tourist trap. Plenty of other great restaurants in the surrounding areas here. If you want to spend your hard earned money on mediocre, this is the place. As a business owner, if you’re going to charge me for “tap” “filtered” water idc if it’s a penny. Let me know before hand. Maybe i would’ve had a sip if i knew the water was at least filtered. To the owner, I expected better, but I get it everything is going up in price, so prices go higher while quality lowers. Also check your bill people. Almost got charged $64 for two beers. Wish I was kidding.

Food was good but 20% tip, charge for water, $6 Mexican coke (when we just wanted something from the fountain), no clarifications, slow service, add everything up and the sentiment is that you were scammed, although to be fair we didn’t but it did leave a bad impression of the place.

Excellent burgers, we tried the frita by kush which has spectacular quince and florida alligator strips as a starter, very good too.
My husband and I went back to Lokal after haven't been there in a while and the experience was very disappointing. The food was not as I remembered. My burger actually tasted like a frozen burger and the service was not great either. What did it for us was that the server added a 20% tip to the bill. What? Yes, 20%! Not cool! Never going back...sorry Lokal.

Incredible burgers, fun atmosphere and even better service. Our burgers were cooked perfectly and the mushroom added to my burger was life altering! Kelsei was super friendly and gave us great traveling tips. We dined on the patio and they have the BEST Key Lime Pie I've EVER had. No junk green pie. The real stuff!

We went to Lokal looking to get a good burger with a fun atmosphere. The atmosphere is great. The rest was beyond not great. The food wasn't horrible but it's also not the best we've had locally. The service was extremely poor. They were not all that busy with several seats available and yet we had to flag someone down anytime we needed help. They never came to check on us and it took a long time for them to even take our order. At the end of it we realized they tipped themselves 20%. They certainly did not deserve that and it felt sneaky that they put that in themselves. I've heard of that with big tables but not for a table of 2. We certainly won't be coming back. For over $100 we expect more.
