Place must've been overbooked, it took over an hour and a half just to be sat. I never mind spending money but $400 worth to be treated poorly by staff was disappointing.
Will never go back. Super overbooked - line to check in was 40 minutes past reservation time and then another hour after that to be seated. Management could not care less. Then, to add insult to injury, the pre fixe meal - which should be easy to course came completely out of sequence multiple times. While the food itself was good, the whole affair was so completely discombobulated that it was the most embarrassing display for a restaurant I have encountered. Many people asked for their booking fee back before even being seated.
Horrible management to scam guests on valentines day, prepaid weeks ahead and had to wait 1.5h to be sat, messed up with other plans for the night. My valentines was ruined due to this horrible experience. The food was good, but i was holding my tears back from frustration at the management.
Very disappointed with this experience. Came here expecting a nice/romantic/fun dinner. Waited over 1 hour to be seated even though we had a reservation. No area to sit while waiting, had to stand around the entrance. Extremely overbooked, multiple couples waited over an hour to be seated. Food was okay at best. Music was good, that's about it.
I have been to Baoli several times. This Valentine's Day evening was a disaster. We waited an hour for a table, which was stuck in a corner next to a stone wall... Awful! It would have been the same if they had offered me a table in the restroom. The wine prices are outrageous too. Doing business is one thing, but mocking people is another. Very disappointing for this establishment, which I used to like. Get your act together! I'm still here, but it's hard... I'm so upset that I'm writing this review instead of enjoying my evening! What a crappy evening.
The food was terrific but the service was not great. Overall it was not worth the roughly $600 we spent for 2 people.
The food and ambience was excellent. Service and bar items severely lacking. The menu was set for and paid in advance so there was no sense of customer service. We sat for about 10 minutes before initial “special valentine's drinks” were delivered. There was also confusion of which courses were served and when. All In all a disappointment for a romantic setting. While food was good, nothing else was sufficient enough for us to consider a return visit. Not a great experience.
Cenamos delicioso, Inés nos atendió de maravilla, muy carismática y siempre atentos de nuestra experiencia. Martes por obvias razones es un día más tranquilo, sin embargo la música estaba muy buena.
I love this place, a must for me when visiting Miami. I love the ambience, food and music, the whole experience is great!
Best meal of our trip to Miami! Love bed the atmosphere. Service was slow and drinks way overpriced.

Excellent food and service. Music was great. We always go to Cannes and now we will add Miami. Our waiter was great and made good recommendations. I think he was a manager also.
In all my 28 years of life this was one of the best meals ever, great ambience, great service and really cool restaurant.
I just had a booking today at Baoli, and I have never been more disappointed in a restaurant. I was there with a friend and we had such high expectations after being to the other location in the south of France. Firstly, we ordered one drink each, and got asked which vodka/tequila we would prefer, and we asked for house, which our server (Christian P), let us know that house vodka was Gray Goose (which is absurd but we didn't think anything of it in the moment as it is a nice restaurant), and house tequila was Don Julio (same here). The same thing happened with the extra two drinks that we ordered. We are two younger girls coming for a good night, and it ended up being a disaster. After seeing the bill I immediately asked to speak to the manager as I felt there was something fishy about the bill. I went to the bar and asked them what the house vodka and tequila was, and they proceeded to show me a very inexpensive and no name brand one, and that we were absolutely not aware of. When speaking with the manager, it was clear that the way he spoke to us was extremely sexist and degrading, due to us being younger girls. He asked me if I could do simple math, such as the difference between 18 and 23, and proceeded to make very degrading comments regarding our experience, not even trying to understand what had occurred in the slightest. As women, we feel extremely degraded and disappointed as we should never have to experience something like this, ever. We will never be coming back. We feel extremely scammed, and only one of the Grey Goose's was taken off of the bill, as he just sighed and kept walking off, without bothering to help us or providing some type of apology or understanding. We hope Baoli takes some action to this as this is not okay in any way, shape, or form.
Food not as good as expected. Crispy rice app not good. Toro roll pretty good. No club feel. Empty.
New ownership killed a once great restaurant... I have come to this restaurant many times before the new ownership and was shocked at how far it's fallen returning back post the change. I walked in and knew right away it felt different. To start, I booked the garden party to celebrate my birthday both of which were noted on the reservation, however was instead greeted at check in by the hostess' arguing quietly before attempting to seat us in the very back corner inside the restaurant next to the walk-ins at the bar. Once calling this out they reluctantly sat us in a half empty garden. We watched plastic looking sushi served around and I knew I was correct that the ownership had definitely changed. The drinks tasted like water and the apps were beyond disappointing and overcooked. We left after that with half the tables doing the exact same. Sad that a restaurant I looked forward coming to that once was exceptional, lost its flavor and fell so far downhill. RIP. Don't see them lasting long.
