We made a reservation at Místico by Silvestre Dangond to celebrate a close friend’s birthday. We were excited, planned everything in advance, and even drove 2 hours to get there… only to find the place completely closed.
No signs, no emails, no calls — nothing. Just the valet parking attendant casually saying, “It’s been closed for about two weeks.” Seriously? How is it even possible that the reservation system is still active if the restaurant hasn’t been operating?
This was not just a simple inconvenience — it ruined what was supposed to be a special day. At the very least, there should have been a notification or the system should have automatically canceled any new bookings. Total lack of communication and professionalism.
We expected something classy and memorable. Instead, it was a huge waste of time, energy, and trust. Místico? More like Misterioso — as in, mysteriously shut down with no heads-up.
Very disappointed.

It's was my birthday, I received the confirmation text and when we arrived to the restaurant the place was CLOSED . Terrible experience we had to look for another place on a Friday at 9:30 pm to celebrate my birthday . I can't believe anyone took care of canceling the reservation with time this was unacceptable I'm very disappointed

As always MISTICO doesn't disappoint an amazing night with friends, dancing singing, THE BEST entertainment in town, family oriented decent place whether you're old middle age or younger everybody mingles together, and everybody enjoys each other's company  Keep it up MISTICO 👏👏👏

Food was great but we felt the portions were small. Loved dessert as well! The music was loud for the amount of people in the space but i can imagine on a busier night it makes sense. Our drinks took a very long time to come out and we were the first people in the restaurant. Additionally our server didn't call out that gratuity was included, and we tipped 20% in addition to that. Would recommend this place maybe for a date night on the weekend.

Date night with another couple, arrived 7:30pm with reservations and immediately seated in great spot near piano bar. The place is dark with windows covered, seemed limite like a club. Synthetic colorful plants a vines adorn the ceiling and walls. It was nice and festive. We started with a special agave cocktail which was quite good, refreshing with passion fruit and a touch of jalapeno. The other couple ordered a very nice bottle of Italian red, a Pinot Noir. Service was very well attended to by Juan and several others and the manager frequently passed inquiring how was everything. We had no issues whatsoever, excellent service. We ordered 3 appetizers to share and all were excellent, recommend the lamb baklava and cod croquettes. Main course we all shared two orders of the short rib tacos which were amazingly delicious. A very large slow cooked short rib with a long bone and the meat neatly carved so you can easy grab a piece and place on an open face tortilla. Various additions to add as you like. Very impressive. Obviously the live music was excellent with piano player and a singer. This is all Latin music. A guest singer also came up with a great voice. The show lasted for about an hour plus and they do three during the night from 7pm to 2am. Be prepared for the bill. It is a bit expensive but you are getting excellent food and a show. Impress the ladies!
Split the short ribs and the Greek salad. What a great combo. Was sooo good. Inkind motivated us to try Místico. So glad we did

Unpleasant Experience Due to Rude Host Our visit was disappointing due to the unprofessional and unwelcoming attitude of the host, Monica. From the moment we arrived, she was dismissive and rude, making us feel uncomfortable rather than welcomed. A great dining experience starts with hospitality, and unfortunately, that was lacking. We hope management addresses this to ensure a more pleasant experience for future guests.

Venden el lugar como un lugar para divertirte y pasarla bien pero desafortunadamente los directivos de lugar permiten que trabajadores en este caso el de seguridad se dirija a sus clientes de forma irrespetuosa haciendo que una noche que podría de alguna manera después de gastar casi mil dólares en consumo fuera especial se convirtiera en algo desagradable yo estuve celebrando el cumpleaños de mi esposa el día primero de febrero junto a mis hijos y familia cuando la noche parecía prometer y dejarnos un buen sabor de boca en medio de la descarga con el Dj y el cantante y después de haber bailado por un rato mi esposa con los pies cansados por los zapatos decide quitarcelos (aunque sus pies no quedan al descubierto pues traía medias panty ) para continuar bailando el señor de seguridad se le acerca y de manera irrespetuosa y como si fuera una delincuente le ordena ponerse los zapatos a lo cual mi esposa accede pero le pregunta el porqué de esa manera tan irrespetuosa delincuente dirigirse a ella y señor decide seguir siendo irrespetuoso nos quejamos a los directivos del lugar en ese momento(manager ) nada pasó el señor decide seguir siendo seguridad siguió pronunciándose irrespetuoso de ofendernos a mi esposa y familia una pesadilla de una noche que podría haber sido especial

Tuvimos una grata experiencia la música fue adecuada el servicio fue muy bueno y el ambiente especial muy educada todo el empleados y muy buen servicio en los tragos y la comida se recomienda este lugar
