The food was delicious, but the music was excessively loud. I could hardly hear people sitting across the table. It seemed like the restaurant is more suitable for those who wanted to enjoy loud music rather than having a conversation with someone else.

The overall restaurant ambiance was ok. The seats were ripped to shreds, so much so, that it scratched your skin. The food was good...except the 20$ truffle fries were DISGUSTING!!!! They were greasy, soggy, did not taste like truffle and tasted old. The margarita pitcher was good.
I went to Mau in October 2023. I just recently went in May, and what a difference. not sure if ownership changed, but I would never go back. The service was terrible. The menu is terrible, they don't have the appropriate glassware for the drinks they are serving and the music is probably the worst at the HIGHEST level. With only 3 tables sat.

The service was great coming in there was a mixed up with my reservation. But the MOD Lena was able to accommodate the mistake made on the reservation. The service was phenomenal the food was great. I had the lamb chops and my husband the mua something the biggest steak ever, that's all I'm going to say. We also had the fried rice fried Brussels sprouts. The ambiance was amazing, they had someone perform with swallowing fire flames and a live DJ. Evening was amazing the staff was also attentive our waiter was also amazing nice gentlemen.

Exploring new restaurants in my area and came across this beautiful spot. We had SO MUCH good food. The drinks were also spectacular. Paola was our server and she rocked. Great recommendations. I also appreciated that the manager came around to check on us and make sure we had a great experience. It shows he cares. Love this place over all and we will most definitely be coming back!

A group of us wanted to grab brunch & figured we'd give MAU a try in Midtown. It's Tulum vibe & music made for great ambience on the patio but indoors was equally as nice. The food was not only delicious but good portions too. We all shared some pitchers of Mojitos & enjoyed good company along with attentive service (which seems rare in Miami sometimes). In fact, the Manager made sure it was impossible for us to leave without having a good time. We'll definitely be coming back one evening too! .

I love this place on a Thursday night vibe! It also has a great happy hour from 5-7 (or so) for a very reasonable price. I will continue to come back!
