So proud and happy for Macondo! I haven’t been here in a while, but they expanded! So happy for them! The service, coffee & food is as fire as always! And now they have more space! Couldn’t have happened to a better space. So excited to come back!

Pancakes were good but a bit small. Comes with blueberries and whip cream but I had to ask for the whip cream. Meal took a long time and coffee finally came after I started eating. American coffee came in paper cup with boiling water. I suspect it was instant coffee. I won’t return here

I was very excited to come here and try out a new spot. Unfortunately, I did not like my matcha at all. I was waiting to tell someone I didn’t like it and to please add vanilla but staff saw me standing there and turned away ignoring me. When I finally got someone to add vanilla which I had originally asked for the rude gentleman handed it to me and said “here make sure to mix it.” Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I will not be back.

Macondo has a nice atmosphere, but their policy of not allowing laptops on weekends and cutting off the internet is very inconvenient. For anyone who wants to work or stay connected, this makes the place a bad choice. It feels like they don’t value customers who need a reliable space to study or work.

got here early, waiting for a couple friends of mine to have a business meeting. I sat down and opened up my laptop and waited for them to get there. I was waiting for my friends to order my drink I had a gentleman come up to me and tell me that laptops and working at the coffee shop are not allowed on weekends that he could attend me, but we cannot use our laptops. I told him I’m waiting for my friends and explain myself, and he said that it is not allowed. I have never been to a coffee shop where there are work hours and non-working hours we were paying customers that were ready to have our whole two hour business meeting there, ordering drinks and food from everyone I don’t understand that policy at all. Do they expect single people on the weekend to go there and order a coffee and sit there by themselves doing nothing what if I wanted to be productive while I drank my coffee is that not allowed on a weekend? I’ve been here a couple times before only on weekdays so this is my first time hearing of this ridiculous policy nonexistent at any other coffee shop. If you’re planning on going to macondo with a laptop to be productive, don’t they don’t want you to

the matcha is mid and almost 9 dollars alone. the matcha taste was barely noticable and not nearly large enough to justify the price.
