Ordered a chicken soup and Crema de Malanga for delivery today 12/27/2024 through Uber Eats. It got here extremely fast (within 20 minutes from ordering), however it was so cold you can tell it is not fresh at all. It tastes like it’s been sitting in the fridge for days. I’m currently sick so ordering a nice, hot soup and receiving bland, cold soup was very disappointing. The Crema de Malanga is also extremely bland and tastes rotten. Giving three stars because I used to eat...

Quaint cafe with pictures of celebs etc on the walls. Food is incredible, and service is fast. It wasn't exceptionally busy, but we were there for lunch on a Wednesday. The tostones were incredible topped with baby shrimp and fresh herbs with a squeeze of fresh lime was the perfect appetizer. The Marinated Pork Chunks were flavorful, and perfectly prepared to be tender on the inside. The world famous Grilled Pork sandwich lived up to its name with shredded pork sauted onions...

I don’t give a 5 star because it doesn’t have too many items/food related to the actual Malanga. I order a Malanga cream and it was the worst Malanga Cream or soup or Purée that I ever had, it had no salt, it tasted watery and it had a taste like one if the Malangas were rotten. The Frituras de Malanga had the same tastes of rotten and sour. The Pan con Bistec was great… no complaints. The plates presentation and the service was very good but definitely I won’t be coming...
