Tried to do walk in at 10:30 am. The cafe was half empty. Got turned away saying they’re fully booked and only those who booked can get a table. Website says walk in welcome. Disappointed.
Cold breakfast. Barbie cake car that I paid $59 didn’t show up. My nieces breakfast the pancakes didn’t show up. The skating was a joke. I couldn’t book it online as it stated, then we got there and had to a wait an hour after the meals that never came for a skate. So poorly run.was still fun and I’d go back. I guess they just need to fix the service at Melbourne. The staff were lovely and the photo opportunities were awesome.
Malibu Barbie cafe was excellent to try and the staff was very helpful and friendly and the manager could not do enough to help me out and the food was delicious to eat came straight away from the kitchen to the table and excellent prices and menu and best in town and fresh cakes and more and delicious coffee to drink and came straight away from the kitchen to the table
I had read some of the reviews, but my girlfriend and I were still excited about going. I just kept my expectations low. Well, all the bad reviews were spot on. You walk in and are greeted with “hey Barbie“ in a manner that seems like they’re absolutely forcing themselves to say it. My burger was OK, but definitely not worth the $20. FYI, all food is prepared in a food truck on site. Plus my pink lemonade was a tiny glass filled with mostly ice that cost $6. If you want water, you have to buy their bottled water for $4. They crammed and jammed as many tables in the space as they could, and any spare room was filled with girls trying to pose for photos. The staff was not friendly– when my friend’s son spilt his drink, we had to clean it up ourselves with no offer to help from staff. After we were done eating we waited 20 minutes to take care of our check before we just went and tracked down someone. They charge you an automatic ‘service fee’ of 20%. And PARKING! You are forced to spend $24 to park in their parking lot because they will not give you any other option than paying for 6 hrs. HARD PASS on this place.
Great place for photo opportunities. Yet I wish I could say the same about the food and beverages. Unfortunately, it falls short of mediocre. Overpriced, and poor quality.
This has such potential to be awesome and it was a fail - not epic but just fell flat. Service was substandard - unhappy, non attentive and not Barbie for sure. No fun or upbeat vibe - staff was a drag. Nothing to do but eat expensive, substandard food. Had to beg for additional ketchup that never arrived. Never had refills on any drinks, even though we asked multiple times. $200 for chicken tenders and 4 oz of pink lemonade and Barbie backdrops that were weak. It is a pop up so maybe standards too high but with a Barbie theme there is a responsibility to bring it and this didn’t do it. They give you a $10 food credit but it is $7 for a 4 oz pour of lemonade and a $5 merchandise credit for a $10 key chain - total money crazy event. Should have had music to make atmosphere fun, Barbie dolls for kids to play with or Barbie trivia beamed on wall too engage customers, and maybe even dress up staff - so much potential here wasted it - bummer!!

My wife and I usually enjoy pop culture pop
Ups. This one was a waste! The ambiance is barely passible as a Barbie experience.
I could have almost let the decor slide if the food and $16 drinks were good but they weren't. The burger was bland. Panckes has no tatse. The lolipops ( we got two different “flovors” ) took one bite and that was enough.
The $16 drinks were terribly made.
And then the server hits us with a $6 per person experience tax. I said what was the experience I’m being taxed on and she just looked away.
Overall it was over $150 for 2 people. We should have door dashed ihop

The 2 hostess here are the absolute worst. Beyond rude and condescending. Never have I felt so disrespected, if it were not because it was my daughters birthday and i was there with a huge party I would not have put up with this.
Dear hostess, if you hate your job, find another. Your bitterness is not our problem.
This was the cutest thing ever. Tinaya was the absolute sweetest and is so amazing! Definitely worth the visit!!

Disappointed! We expected better decor, more than just one Photo Booth. We expected more upscale atmosphere for the price. Too expensive for what they had. Would not recommend

Had an amazing time, everyone was so warm and inviting, beach burger and the margarita was bomb. My bartender Tinaya was such a sweetheart. This experience was definitely a 10/10! Skating was fun and only $1. Definitely recommend. “Bye Barbie”
