Mama Tried is such a cool, underrated spot in Downtown Miami. It has the perfect mix of retro charm and modern bar vibes dim lights, great music, and a super relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. The décor is fun and nostalgic, giving the place its own personality without feeling gimmicky. The drinks are affordable (which is rare in Miami!), well-made, and come out fast. The bartenders are friendly, the crowd is chill, and the whole place feels like that go-to bar you can always rely on for a good time without the Brickell chaos. Whether you want to dance, play some pool, or just hang out with friends, Mama Tried hits every single time. Definitely a must if you want a laid-back but lively night out.

Still one of my favorite bars in Downtown Miami. Good happy hour and the cocktails are amazing! They recently added new concoctions to the menu just in time for the busy holiday season. Make sure to check them out. Drinks are not watered down but always well-balanced and potent. My go-to is their Old Fashioned, of course, but I have a new favorite called Urban Cowboy. It's made with Maple Bacon Infused Maker's Mark, vanilla cinnamon syrup, bitters and cedar smoke. So good! I also recently tried the Red Flag made with Cazadores Blanco, lime, agave, strawberry-infused Aperol, and topped with bubbles. So refreshing and tasty.
You cant go wrong with any of their cocktails. The mixologist knows what they're doing and as a matter of fact, this place has won several competitions during SOBEWFF. It gets packed late at night, especially Friday and Saturday so get there at a decent hour so you grab a table or space by the bar. Will keep coming back!

We had a fun time at Mama Tried in Downtown Miami trying their new cocktails. The bar itself gives instant chill vibes as you’re surrounded by nostalgic décor and old school beats. The main attraction of course is their many creative drinks! They were all refreshing, each with unique flavors and combinations; some that you wouldn’t expect to work! Overall, we tried 6 cocktails. My personal favorite was the Porn Star Martini! Delicious! The locals already know about this spot, but next time you’re in Downtown Miami, make sure to stop by and try one of their new tasty cocktails!

My go-to spot in Miami!! This is THE SPOT for pre/post AND game. Every time I come here I have a good time with friends, the DJs are always on point and Matt is the absolute best!!! This has become my non-negotiable for a night out in Miami and I will keep coming back like I have been. Definitely a must, especially if you have a big friend group that likes to have a good time. The ambience is 10/10 and coming from a bartender, the drinks are always on point. A MUST if youre in Miami!!!🩷‼️

Unless you want your wallet stolen from your purse that is ON your body, do not go here. Went out with a group of friends on a Friday night and my wallet was stolen and my friends cell phone was stolen from the bar. The staff wasn’t exactly the friendliest in trying to help us and simply said to cancel cards and file police report. Definitely a shady place with shady people.
