Such a gorgeous cafe with great food! We stumbled across this place and were so glad we did. I had Elisa's Breakfast bowl and my friend had the smashed avocado tartine. We loved them both and our almond milk lattes.

This review is long overdue and I've been slacking. I cannot gush about this place enough! I heard about maman opening up before it was actually opened. Stoked about it because it's originally a NYC spot. And we all know NYC has some of the best eats!!!

Went during first week after it opened in Feb 2024 because coincidentally I was in Wynwood for something else. Had to stop in to snag some coffee and their Dark Chocolate Orange Cubed Croissant. Absolute heaven. The cubed croissant was perfectly layered and fun to eat. The filling was just the right hint of sweetness without being overly indulgent.

The ambiance is everything. I walked in and was immediately transported to a cute French cafe. The decor is heavenly. They thought of every little detail from the space, furniture, lighting, dishware, glassware, wallpaper and presentation on every level. It's super charming. I loved it so much I had planned a girls brunch the following month in March. We couldn't wait!

Brunch day came and my girlfriends fell in love with the space just as much as I did. They don't take reservations, first come first serve. So we arrived on a Sat morning as soon as they opened and were seated right away. Had a bit of everything. We had a variety of cocktails, because brunch. Sangria Tropicale was yummy. The Everything Croissant & Salmon Sandwich and Eggs Ratatouille is so damn good. My girls enjoyed the Croque maman but it was too much for me, too much cheese and way too rich.

We noticed our server wasn't dressed like the rest of the staff so we asked him about it. Turns out our server was also the owner, Ben. That says everything about the owner that they are willing to jump out there and help their team and do the work. Ben was awesome! He was incredibly kind and so very humble. He told us that he moved to South Florida from NYC and planned on opening several other maman locations. I love everything about maman so I'm so happy for their success! We had a lovely brunch experience and I would highly recommend. We even got a selfie with Ben. Such a cool guy! Thanks for the hospitality Ben. Sorry for this super late review. Lol.

I was at maman this past weekend after the South Florida Seafood Festival. I told hubby since we were in the area, we had to stop by maman which was right around the corner. Literally made it there 10 minutes before closing and Yann was kind enough to accommodate my order for coffee and pastries, whatever was left. Haha. We got a Honey Lavender Latte, Espresso d'Orange, Kouign maman and Banana Walnut Bread. The Kouign maman is KING!!! I am obsessed with peeling the layers like a sideways fruit roll up. The flavor and caramelization was absolute perfection. Dare I say it's even better than Dominque Ansel's Kouign Amann which is the first time I ever had this pastry. OH EM GEEEEE!!! Don't skip on this. Next time I will stock up. Lol. Banana Walnut Bread was just ok, quite dry and not very moist as I had hoped.

Bonus: maman uses the InKind app. I got a $10 off $20 discount using my app. SCORE!!!

Everything I've had at maman:

* Dark Chocolate Orange Cubed Croissant
* Eggs Ratatouille
* Croque maman
* Everything Croissant & Salmon Sandwich
* Sangria Tropicale
* Mom-osa
* Bellini
* Frosé
* Honey Lavendar Latte
* Espresso d'Orange
* Kouign maman
* Banana Walnut Bread

Had to do this, because I feel is fair! I absolutely love this fancy and cozy french bakery ?. Their pastries, excellent matcha latte (I like it with pistachio milk), and the sweet attention of their staff, very kind and friendly. Congratulations and thank you for taking care of your customers and our feedbacks…??????!

On our last trip to Wynwood this month (11/24), Maman became our favorite breakfast spot. The quality of the food and coffee is phenomenal and the service is fantastic. My whole family loves this place. Thank you Jeremy and team. We cannot wait to go back. Thank you.

This is cute cafe to have a breakfast or lunch date, you have to order at the register.

I had the avocado toast tartine with scrambled eggs on top I was a little underwhelmed by the flavor & presentation, made it hard to eat without deconstructing the toast.

The atmosphere is cute and very typical for the wynwood area.

I ordered their baguette steak sandwich on door dash, and I received a TUNA sandwich instead? That is crazy and whoever made that big of an error should be fired. I could've been allergic to seafood. Their nutty chocolate chip cookie was very bitter, I didn't get enough of the sweetness I expected. For coffee, I had the honey cinnamon latte and it was really good, however, if you order coffee on door dash you will only receive the smallest size, which is not worth $8. On a good note, the goat cheese blueberry pastry was absolutely perfect and it tastes even better when you have it warmed. I honestly expected better, I've been wanting to try this place for a few months and I was shocked at how disappointing it is for someone to not know the difference between STEAK and TUNA. How do we go from TURF to SURF??? but French bakeries in Miami are a hit or miss.

The baked goods are great,
The food ?
The place inside very nice the portions small and it seams they are still in learning stages of opening. Try it once and make you own opinions. For me one and done. Unfortunately.

We liked our cappuccino. Our small pastry was pretty good. The only reason why that i gave 4 stars is that there wasn’t enough chairs outside.

Did a pickup order for the first time - not sure why they gave me the most baby cup of coffee I’ve ever seen in my life ? honestly didn’t know they made cups this small, and I paid $8, same price as when I got one in person, larger the other day. I feel scammed, also the coffee is not that great & the pastries are really dry. I won’t be back.
