So the place was perfect, food great, service great, vibe great. But I have to say the Turkish dark chocolate cake was priceless. This dessert was so delicious it makes you feel tingles all over your neck and ears. It’s just perfection, I teared up a little. I need people to know this. Travel for this cake. It’ll be the best decision you’ve ever made. I’ve been to 28 cities around the world and nothing compares. Thank you.

Stronggly advise NOT to visit! The place is beautifull, but the food is totally regular, nothing that shines through eyes and mouth!
I asked for a skewer with roasted tomato and eggplant, it arrived for 50,00 u$ a ridiculous plate with less than 100 grams of meat! (“Poor” Photo below!)
The place again is great, but there are plenty better and with better food!

In one phrase: “Trendy! But totally overpriced!”

It was a huge disapoitmemt!

Mr. Mandolin (delivery sister restaurant) - pita sticks (fish) were beyond awful, and too small. This place used to be great quality. Won't dine here again sadly.

I recently visited Mandolin Aegean Bistro and it easily became one of the most charming restaurants I’ve experienced in Miami. The place is set inside a restored 1940s house with a beautiful garden courtyard, and the blue-and-white design makes it feel like you’ve stepped into a small seaside village in Greece.

The menu focuses on Aegean cuisine, blending Greek and Turkish coastal flavors. Many dishes are served as mezze, which makes it fun to share different plates at the table. The grilled octopus, baked feta, and fresh salads were especially memorable—simple ingredients but incredibly flavorful.

The atmosphere is relaxed, romantic, and very Mediterranean. Most people choose to sit outside in the courtyard under the trees, which creates a cozy and intimate dining experience. The restaurant has even earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand for its high-quality food at good value.

Overall, Mandolin Aegean Bistro feels like a little Mediterranean escape in Miami. Great food, beautiful setting, and a warm atmosphere make it a perfect spot for a relaxed dinner with friends or a special date night.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience and a huge part of that was thanks to our waiter, Pablo, and the incredible staff. From the moment we sat down, Pablo made us feel welcome with his friendly attitude, great sense of humor, and genuine attention to detail. He was knowledgeable about the menu, made excellent recommendations, and checked in at just the right times to make sure everything was perfect without ever feeling intrusive.

The food was amazing, but the service truly elevated the whole evening. Pablo’s professionalism and warmth made the experience feel special, and you can tell he really cares about making guests happy. The entire staff worked together seamlessly everyone was attentive, polite, and created such a welcoming atmosphere.

The food and our waiter were good. Our only issue was with the manager, a woman wearing a black shirt. When it started raining, we were being moved inside and she approached us with an attitude and asked if we were waiting for a table. We explained that we were being moved indoors because of the rain. Her response came off as rude. Although it seemed like she later tried to soften things by calling us “love” and being a bit kinder, her initial comment and tone felt unnecessary. I would have expected a more welcoming level of service from Mandolin.

Super cute and fun restaurant. The layout is gorgeous. Our server was amazing! It’s very busy, so we did feel a bit squished, but it’s a very pretty restaurant. Also had an adorable shop where you can buy olive oil, salt, butter etc. Which was super charming.

Absolutely the best Mediterranean (Greek/Turkish/creative) restaurant in Miami. Extraordinary cooking, amazing starters, (you can't go wrong...but do not skip the Turkish sampler, grilled octopus, kofte kabobs, ali nazik and the baked feta) outstanding mains, (fish, moussaka, lamb, beef souvlaki with the best french fries in town, dumplings) superb service and an atmosphere that will make you feel that you've been magically transported to Santorini. I was lucky enough to have been working just north of downtown when they opened, and happily discovered Mandolin during its first week. It has only grown better with time. I love going with friends or family and ordering half the things on the menu! It's the place to celebrate the joy that sharing a great meal can bring.
