Tried this new spot to support but everything was a bit average. The cashier barely spoke English, fried chicken was dry, fried snapper was well seasoned but small for the price and the griot was ok.
So great to be able to go back to Miami after 2 years o restricted travels ( thanks Covid ) so we needed to ensure that a return to Mangoes was part of this trip. Now in fairness to those that may have not visited this area before, it has changed a lot, but Mangoes remains as good as ever !! And is the best place on Ocean Drive to Party. Mangoes Tropical Cafe lives up to its name, except it is not really a Cafe, it is a full on Cabaret Restaurant and Bar, with reasonable food...
The food is spectacular, it is costly but you get what you pay for. I always look forward to their Tasso Cabrit with fried plantains. This is the place to go to if you are looking for a good, clean Haitian Restaurant.
