I just got scammed. I was given a menu as I was seated. I ordered my food, ate it, enjoyed it. When it was time to receive the bill, I noticed the prices I was charged were different than what the menu displayed. I asked to see the menu again and this time the menu they gave me had the correct prices. I told them that the menu I had initially received was different and I was confident the prices I had seen were not the same. They basically gaslighted me and told me I was mistaken and insisted that I was looking at that same menu all along when I know I was not. Thats a very clever business strategy! Slimy, shady, disgusting, but clever. I will not be coming back here.

Mangrove is an absolute gem in downtown Miami. From the moment you walk in, the service is excellent, warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The space feels cozy and inviting, making it easy to relax and really enjoy the experience.
The cocktails deserve special mention. They’re thoughtfully crafted and perfectly balanced. The Natural Mystic was outstanding, so good I couldn’t resist having more than one.
As for the food, everything we tried was phenomenal. The wings were packed with flavor, the lamb chops were cooked beautifully, and the curry oxtail was truly to die for—rich, comforting, and deeply satisfying. The dishes do lean on the spicy side, so if you’re sensitive to heat, keep that in mind. Personally, I loved every single bite.
This is one of those places that gets everything right: service, drinks, food, and atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning.
