Customer service was greatFood was terrible.Chicken tenders were so dry like they were fried twice. French fries were not salted and bland. Sweet plantains were sour due to not being ripe and burnt. Empanadas were good.Honey mustard taste like some weird form of mustard Mayo and not actually honey mustard.First meal in Miami and it went into the trash.Lady working the front was very nice though.

Loved it. Some cold beer, a Cuban sandwich, chicharrones and Lechon. Come on, that sounds great, no??? Cortadito for dessert. It was great. Go to Manolo's.

When in Miami, I want three kinds of food; Cuban, Cuban and more Cuban! Monolo and Rene was close to the hotel with good reviews. It's open 24 hours, and has a nice "local" feel to it. Service was immediate and very friendly. I had the slow roasted pork platter with black beans and rice for $16. The pork was tasty, maybe a touch on the dry side, but with plenty of garlic and sautéed onions. The beans and rice were solid, really good. I would certainly dine here again.
