I order 2 sandwiches from this place. One being mozz and tomatoes and another one being turkey and cheese. I ask the guy helping me if that’s all it comes with and he said yup. So I paid and sat down and when i got my food i realize the turkey and cheese had mustard in it. I told them I can not eat mustard can I pls have it without mustard and they said no. They don’t do exchange. I didn’t want any money. I just wanted the sand which i paid for without mustard or anything else with the same price without mustard cause I can’t eat that. The manger said even tho it’s the guy fault for not telling me It had mustard, she can’t do anything. I would have to pay for another sandwich even tho I PAID for a sandwich. Therefore I paid for a sandwhich that has Mustard and NO ONE TOLD ME it had mustard because if I knew I would’ve NEVER purchase it and I couldn’t eat nothing else. This is ridiculous. I never in my life experienced this. If i say I can’t have mustard and I don’t get why she couldn’t just help me. This was during my lunch break to so i couldn’t eat the sandwich. She threw it out or idk what she did with it but I paid for something I couldn’t have and that is 100% wrong, and they acknowledged it was their mistake for not telling me. SMH.

Second time getting food poisoning after getting breakfast here. Sucks because I loved going to this place. The first time when I got smoked salmon sandwich and ate half of it, I wasn’t sure why I’m not feeling well. The next day I ate another half, and again, I didn’t feel well. My friend laughed at me for being stupid and eating the other half but I kinda didn’t want to believe the place could sell bad food. A few months later, I went to get breakfast and ordered spinach feta pastry. It ruined my weekend. Been laying in bed with nausea and weakness and no desire for food at all second day in a row. In between these two occurrences I ordered food there a few times, and it was good. But the fact that it happened to me twice already in the past few months and it affects my next few days it will probably keep me away from the place unfortunately.
Although they’re claiming that this is the first time they received this type of complaint, if you scroll down there are more complaints about the same issue. I had to leave this comment here, because it happened to me three times unfortunately.

I recently visited Marie for the first time and was impressed by its cozy and inviting atmosphere. The location is excellent, and there's plenty of seating available, making it a great spot for families. The display of sandwiches, pastries, and other treats is absolutely beautiful and very tempting. I found the prices to be quite reasonable for the quality and presentation. While the croissants were a bit underwhelming, I enjoyed the subs, which come in a nice variety of flavors. The sweets are also quite good and definitely worth trying. Overall, Marie Bajeot is a great spot that I would recommend checking out.

If you want have the most delicious and delightful breakfast, this is the perfect place. We have spent the weekend in Miami and we have bene here twice. The owner and the servers are so kind and nice, also the atmosphere. I wish I had it in NY!
