Cecilia Siarez at the bar is the best. She has provided the best service, quick and tasty dinner I've had food around the area and this was pretty elevated for what it was.
So we ate here pre-cruise, and had a wonderful meal. My hamburger was delicious, daughter's chicken fingers very good. Service was great. Not the fastest, but acceptable. Wait staff very good. Now comes the not-so-good: We ate here again post-cruise as our flight was cancelled due to a snowstorm in NY. I ordered the shrimp scampi, and dd ordered the hamburger. After waiting 45 minutes (we were the only ones in the restaurant at that time- it had just opened) the food came out. My scampi was a small (I can't even describe how small) dish of 5 tiny shrimp swimming in some kind of jell-like substance. I had specifically asked the waiter (and older man) if the shrimp came with pasta, and was assured it did. No pasta came with the dish. I ordered a salad with bleu cheese dressing as one of my sides- salad came without the dressing. My waiter had disappeared, and luckily one of the other waiters (nice young guy) was kind enough to take pity on me and get me some dressing. The $25 scampi was a travesty - 4 of the shrimps had tails off, but the 5th still had tail on. And the sludge it buried in was gross. My daughter's burger was like a hockey puck. After eating what we could (restaurant was getting busy) we finally (15 minutes later) found our waiter (maybe he was on a break - but the restaurant had just opened) and got our check. One very good meal, and one I wouldn't serve my worst enemy.
This was absolute trash they took an hour to seat us after we called in advanced and they didint give us our menu after another hour.
We ate dinner on two nights out of four on our stay at the Holiday Inn. The second night I got the Salmon and it was good. The last night on Friday I got the Fretticcine Alfredo and it was great. They give you quite a bit and I even shared it with my wife. It had thick creamy cheesy sauce and it was the best I have had from a restaurant. Very tasty!
This is inside the Holiday Inn. We were waiting for a tour, and I bought some coffee from them - it was delicious & the price was very reasonable. Will go back.
Good breakfast here but very busy as everyone was trying to head out to their cruise ship on time. The mamager was kind enough to open up the bar area for those who were sitting "single" at the bar. Did attempt lunch here as well but arrived 20 minutes before closing so they didn't offer us anything other than tea
Went for lunch on a Thursday. Restaurant not even a third full. Apparently, that is way too much for them to handle. Two burgers and a quesadilla took an hour to cook. Food was coming very very slow for the other tables too. Service and cook times are imposdibly slow. I couldn't even try to be this bad. Stay far, FAR away. Tons of food options across the street.
We had a big lunch so we just chose to stay at the hotel for dinner and complementary drinks. Had chicken tenders which were actual tenders and tasty. My husband just had a burger. Nothing remarkable. Drinks were good. Food was very slow to arrive, but super friendly waiter. We were leaving for a cruse the next morning and had the breakfast buffet. It was convenient, but overpriced. Again, very nice wait staff.
We came in here for a drink. It took 10 min to get a drink. Then it took 15 min to close out. Bartender was not attentive at all. Don’t come here for a drink.
We had drinks and appetizers here several times, the wings and homemade chips were great. Breakfast from the menu was good. Staff was friendly. Convenient location pre-cruise.

My family ate here for the convenience of being in the Holiday Inn Hotel and quickly realized we made a mistake. We ordered drinks and it took about 15 minutes for those to arrive. They were mixed drinks so we brushed that off. When it took an hour to get our appetizers, that is when we became even less thrilled. Then the chicken wings were absolutely burnt. But wait, there's more! My mom informed them politely that the wings were unedible. They offered to replace them, but we just wanted a refund since it took so long to begin with. They did not like that. The waiter became very rude, to the point of scoffing at my mom when she went to pay her bill and took about another 10-15 minutes to complete a transaction. When my husband and I payed our bill, he gave us $3 worth of change in dimes and also took 10 minutes for the transaction while we had to stand there and wait. They were not busy in the slightest. We were not rude to deserve that kind of treatment and behavior from the waiter. I just can't understand why this happened and ABSOLUTELY felt like this needs to be shared.
Had a nice supper, moderately priced given the area, and food was very good. Quite a bit of choice on menu, and full bar available.
Probably the worst, non tasting breakfast we have ever eaten. No flavor and bland tasting. We went somewhere else the next day
Long wait, over priced but food ok .... if staying at the Holiday Inn Portside and don't feel like going elsewhere this restaurant is OK.
Wanted to order from the menu but the server disappeared after handing me a menu. So I had the breakfast buffet. It was ok considering I hate buffets.
