The restaurant is beautiful. The service was excellent. The food was amazing. A party in your mouth. Chris the bartender made delicious drinks. I highly recommend the Trees and Bees old fashioned with the lucuma cheesecake. Jose the server was very professional and very friendly. He gave us great recommendations and the food did not disappoint.

Mayu offers a truly exceptional Peruvian dining experience.
Their ceviche is delicious, and classic Peruvian staples like lomo saltado are executed perfectly. Everything is prepared fresh, and the attention to detail in every dish is wonderful. While completely authentic, the chefs still manage to put a personal touch on the classics—the phenomenal suspiro limeño is a perfect example.
You simply will not go wrong dining here.

First time at MAYU, can't wait to return! AMAZING dinning experience from beginning to end! From the welcome hostesses to our amazing server Jose, the food was who was delicious and beautifully presented, what a work of art! Everything on menu we tried was absolutely divine - papas a la huancaina, del barrio ceviche, speciallty sushi with scallops and truffle oil. Let's not forget the brownie and Lucuma mouse Birthday desert! To die for! And the cocktails - tried the lavender/elderflower pisco cocktail... thank you for an unforgettable evening! Will be back very soon!

We ordered the weekday lunch special. The ceviche and desserts were very good, but the lomo saltado tasted like it came from a can. The quality of the beef and juice was low. The veggie chaufa and rice lacked flavor. The veggies weren't even chopped chaufa style. What was even more disappointing was that we waited 30-40 minutes for our main courses to come out, despite barely any guests being there. Needless to say, we won't be returning.
