The food is outstanding, the details of service from the arrival experience, to the dishes used to serve the food, to the overall restaurant decor is pure perfection! Highly recommend this place. The hamachi tiradito is out of this world as well as their ceviche.

It was an incredible experience at MAYU! Our server, Jose, was attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the Peruvian dining experience. The food was flavorful and overall outstanding, and I would definitely come back!

AMAZING!!! Don't think, just book a reservation. The experience was well thought out and the food tasted so authentic and delicious. The drinks were all truly handmade and had the right amount of liquor (for those that get it). After my first dinner here, I've been back 3 times over 2 weeks.

Fuimos a celebrar San Valentín day y fue una bonita experiencia, cuando llegamos nos lavaron las manos con agua y esencias especiales, nos pareció muy acogedor y diferente. Una vez adentro ordenamos el Cholo power (que para nuestro gusto estaba un tono subido de sal) y los anticuchos de corazón que estuvieron realmente deliciosos, de tomar pedimos chicha morada a la cual le tuvieron que colocar un poco de syrup porque no se sentía realmente ese dulcito que la caracteriza pero cuando nos la arreglaron quedó espectacular, también ordenamos el MAYU sour (flight) lo cual nos encantó. Para el mains ordenamos el Tagiatelle a la huancaina con pulpo el cual estaba un poco duro pero el manager se encargó de cambiarnoslo y luego quedó exquisita y el Ducks con arroz norteño que estuvo de locura (súper rico). Es un lugar hermoso, elegante y la atención estuvo 10/10, si volveríamos a ir porque ir una sola vez no es suficiente para probar ese sabor peruano que los caracteriza.

Horrible service. I sat unattended for 30 minutes with the manager made aware that no one even came to offer water for 30 minutes. After I was visibly annoyed and made it known that I need a server ASAP and was left waiting that long without even a hello they still ocntinued to ignore our table and didn't even offer us a cocktail. They were extremely homophobic to me and my partner since we walked in. I'm never coming here again and highly advise anyone to save their time on the wanna be “high class dinner” restaurant. Figure it out guys.

We were four people for dinner on a Saturday night and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. It is beautifully decorated and we commented how pleasant it was that we were able to have a conversation without shouting. Great accoustics. Our servers were extremely attentive and professional. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and will for sure go back.
