I never thought I would leave a 1 star review for a self serve frozen yogurt shop, because how could a self serve yogurt shop go off course? But the Menchie's of Aventura did..We stopped in for yogurt after dinner on a Friday night after seeing a Menchie's email ad today for new flavors now in store (Strawberry Cake and Caramel Apple Pie). When we got in, at least 3 of the dispensers didn't have flavors at all, and the new featured flavors weren't there.We picked a variety of flavors and went to the checkout and the only type of greeting we got was from the guy at the counter that just gave us a nod. We gave him a coupon we got from a Menchie's Aventura employee that came to our condo building recently for a buy 1 get 1 free yogurt and the employees in the location refused the coupon saying it was expired and said they don't accept coupons any more. So they refused the coupon, but fortunately we had a Menchie's reward we could use.The guy at the counter then asked if we wanted a receipt and I said yes, but then he said it's gonna be at least 2-3 minutes for it to print. We then declined the receipt and then a lady at the counter said we would need to wait a few minutes because it seemed like they may be having a technical issue but it's ok if I go into my banking app and show them the charge showing Menchie's and then they would give us permission to leave. It was literally the most awkward interaction and I don't think we'll ever go back here (and it's a shame, we've been going here for years, and also bought at least 3 or 4 birthday cakes from here in the past).

Workers are so kind and helpful. You can tell they have a really great dynamic in there. The fro yo is always delicious and the place is super clean. 1000/10

I'm so sorry I walked in because now I have to go every day! I love the self-service aspect and that I can add as many flavors of frozen yogurt as I want as well as toppings and mix-ins because it's priced by the pound. And because you can DIY, you know just how much of each flavor you want. And besides, it's delicious too.

This is my go-to sweet tooth spot for a delicious frozen treat. Good yogurt and good selection of syrup and toppings. Customer service is fast but unacceptable I can't get a receipt. Warning, the fruit isn't sweet at all. If you want to feel like you are sucking a lemon, get the fruit as well
