Went to this restaurant because of the good reviews and advertisements. Its really loud, service is slow and unclear. The waitress was really nice, but I couldn't even hear her because of the loud music. The food was really salty and it was expensive. I got 3 mofongo cups, (because thats what they are... plastic cups with plantains) a kids meal, 2 cokes, a sprite and two alcoholic drinks for $200!

Yesterday we visited Mofongo Restaurant for the first time and were delighted with the atmosphere, the service, and of course the food; everything was delicious.
We received personalized attention from Julia, a cheerful, attentive woman who was always concerned about us and our needs.
We didn't have to wait long because we had made a reservation, and we even got in before our scheduled time.
Everyone was delighted with the food: the sancocho was delicious, the shrimp mofongo was delicious, and the rest of the dishes were delicious, too. The drinks were also excellent.
Our family reunion at Mofongo was excellent, and we highly recommend it.

Las alcapurrias igualitas que en PR y el mofongo ufff demasiado de rico y el caldo de pollo le dio el toque final De seguro cuando regrese a Miami vuelvo a la calle 8 a sentirme en casa en un pedazo aquí en miami. Honestly the food wasn't good! For the price the dish was 90% carbs and 10% protein. Plus the meat tasted off. I'm not use to eating Portoricain good... The service was amazing though and waiter was great.

Please bring the old cooks back, the food was not the same and my husband and I waited over an hour to sit since they didn’t have tables for 2 yet we saw a ton of empty tables. We’ve been coming here for years and surprised to see dry churrasco and mediocre mofongo.

I ordered the chicken breast listed at $20 on the menu but was charged $30 because they changed the side from mashed potatoes to rice and beans—something I wasn’t informed would cost extra. While the busser and the person who brought the food were both excellent, the food itself was just okay. I was disappointed with the unexpected charge.
