Im hesitant to post this because it’s truly a hidden gem right now but this restaurant/market and chef Takashi deserve their praise. It’s the best and most authentic sushi I have had in Miami. It’s the only nigiri I’ve had that has the proper size and freshness you would expect from good, high quality nigiri. By far the most similar to the nigiri I have had in Japan. No tiny pieces where they’re skimping you out on fish and loading it with rice and sprinkling truffle oil to make a sad piece of nigiri look appealing. This is the real deal and so worth it. Can’t wait to check it out in person

Relaxed place to grab authentic Japanese food with fresh fish and a talented sushi chef who prepares everything in front of you.More laid back but light years ahead of most other sushi spots I’ve been to. This is going to be a regular spot for me!

Wonderful, small Japanese restaurant run by a Michelin starred chef. Bright, cheerful, casual space. Easy to walk to in Bricknell. Highly recommended.

I came here once and it was full, but I came back and was amazed at how good it was... the eel was amazing and better than the one I had when I lived in NYC a long time ago (don't worry, I ain't a new Yorker, I'm a miamian ;) )

Hello - I just checked the receipt again and I noticed I was overcharged on BOTH sushi bar items that I ordered … can someone reach out to me to clarify this please?Regardless, If prices are different than menu , it should be clearly stated / mentioned before asking for payment. Not a good look — comes across as skimming customers, and I won’t be returning until I have clarity/rectification/refund regarding this issue.
Finally a sushi restaurant operated by Japanese chef and staff. Clean, simple and fresh. Authentic sushi restaurants with Japanese operators are hard to come by in the USA. I almost do not want to review this place as I don’t want to have to wait to dine in. Will become a regular

Japanese restaurant of the highest quality you can get in Miami, the prices are in line with the freshness of the fish used, they have fresh wasabi, very few places in Miami have it.

Great sushi and everything else. Tuna belly and yellowtail to die for. Sushi was very fresh and the rice top quality. Tried the oxtail udon and gyudon bowls. Best appetizer was the cod. It melted in your mouth. Service was great, wonderful staff. They also sold different Japanese products like kewpie, togarashi, and sake to go.
