The ramen was SUPER GREASY, like the broth is done with chicken fat only, your whole mouth gets covered with oil. I had the Chicken ramen, the chicken itself was cold, egg as well, they said you heat up everything with the soup but they did acknowledged the ramen is greasier.
Had a pork belly bao bun, that was good but cold as well - hence the two stars.
Our server (it was a lady) she was super nice, but the whole place is understaffed.

I came on the evening of Friday, January 16th. And am only writing this because I was just so appalled with the waitress that night. Girl, if youâre reading this, do better. Youâre representing an entire business. And when you represent it poorly, Guess what, it affects profits. I will never eat here again And also recommend against it because of the bad taste you left in me and my guests mouth.
My guest and I Arrived and I immediately asked the waitress if she can plug my phone in because I had a very low battery. We sat for a good 10 to 12 minutes without being helped meanwhile, the waitress and the busser were just hanging out behind the bar. Chatting, laughing. For context, there were only a couple other tables there. the restaurant was very dead at the time.
I tried to get her attention several times and she was just not paying attention. At first, I wasnât gonna say anything to her because I was turned off by the lack of service that I just wanted to leave. Since she had my phone, I had to say something After asking for it back. When I approached her to remind her that we had been waiting for a while she seemed so unbothered. I let her know we were leaving because nobody came to serve us. And she literally said âohâŠ..okay, then leave.â So calm and unbothered And with a tone of âyou really think I care, just leave thenâ and then proceeds to start cracking up with the busser about it. She was so unbothered like âwhoops yeah whateverâ
It rubbed me such a wrong way. My guest and I decided to take our business across the street to Pastis. Which was delicious and had exceptional service and atmosphere . If you havenât been, I highly recommend

ïżŒ I would say everyone loved their appetizer and their entrĂ©es. My Ramen was fantastic. Service and when ïżŒthe food was delivered was very sporadic.

Restaurantji Recommends
Although ramen was good, they had a super loud DJ playing to a room with only 5 occupied tables, which made the experience terrible. DJ is ok if it fits the ambiance, this one thought he was playing at Ultra but it was an empty dining room at 7pm. Ate as quick as I could to get out of there.

As we tried to place our order (for wontons); we were told they donât have any. Ok, no problem. Tried to order Tokyo chicken and we were told they donât have chicken⊠how do you not have food, on a Friday at 8pm, and youâre a restaurant?

The brunch menu was offered and we asked for pricing for our kids (5 and 3yo), they said our kids were too young to charge. When the bill came they were charged for items we ordered off the brunch menu. This shouldâve been communicated from the start. The service was very slow for all you can eat brunch as if it was intentional and we were told there was a time limit of 1 hour. Staff didnât clear our table and just let the plates pile up until we asked them to make more space. The food was overly seasoned/marinated, it didnât live up to the hype for a celebrity chef restaurant.
