I recently had the pleasure of dining at Monchys Patio Restaurant, and it was truly an outstanding experience from start to finish. Having heard great things, I decided to try it myself, and I can confidently say the food lives up to the hype. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and was served quickly, which is always a plus.
The star of the show for me was definitely the pica pollo – absolutely fabulous, with the fried chicken being exceptionally crispy on the outside and wonderfully juicy and flavorful inside, without relying on heavy coatings. The authenticity shone through, making it feel just like homemade cooking. I also thoroughly enjoyed the mangú and tres golpes; they were simply to die for. Even the rice and beans had that comforting, homemade taste, and the berenjena guisada hit all the right notes.
Beyond the delicious food, the service was truly commendable. Despite arriving close to closing, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, taking their time to answer my questions and even offering a free sample of black beans, which was a lovely touch. The fresh juices and top-notch rice pudding rounded off the meal perfectly. With plenty of free parking available and such affordable prices, Monchys Patio Restaurant offers incredible value. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to explore more of their fantastic menu!

Really really delicious and soo affordable. Chicken was crisp and so beautifully seasoned. The chicken taste didn’t hide behind anything like coating and sauce, but instead was flavorful and delicious. It’s probably the best fried chicken I have ever had. Service was outstanding. I came close to the closing time and wasn’t rushed. The lady running the counter took her time to answer my questions and even gave me a cup of black beans to try for free. It was my first time trying boiled green bananas. What a surprising side dish! Excellent freshly squeezed juices and rice pudding was top notch. Thank you for such a great experience! I will definitely be back to try more food!

I went on the recommendation of the chicken and tried it with rice, first they lied to me about the price (I paid more than normal because the 3-piece plate was 7 dollars and something and they charged me like 12 dollars). The service was terrible because I told them I was there for the first time and the person's attitude was that I should also know what they sold and how much things cost, in addition to not even saying hello when I arrived to order food. I know the price is cheap, but the service should be standard in any restaurant and even more so if it is a small restaurant like this. I do not recommend it

Terrible service, by serving people with large orders before they served me even tho i ordered first. The lady tried charging me more for specific chicken pieces even though she did not to other customers i felt terrible being treated like that. Theyll take advantage of you for their own reasons. Terrible.
