Absolutely outstanding food!! Every single dish was delicious, bar none. One of the best meals you can have in Miami. Small intimate setting. Not cheap considering the portion sizes, but frankly in line with other fine dining places in the area and their food is much better.Even though the lady’s service can be a bit rough around the edges (likely due to language challenges), I will be back! The food is just so good I will take some sass in the process.

One of the best dining experiences in the Miami area. Delicious food, gourmet presentation, intimate ambiance. From personal experience it is far better than the majority of the Michelin star rated restaurants in the area.Dietary restrictions: Excellent for many pescatarian options

As a fellow small business owner, I understand the challenges that come with delivering an exceptional dining experience to customers. It's with this consideration that I share my thoughts on my recent visit to Morla Restaurant.Upon arrival, I was taken back by the steel fence separating the front of the restaurant from the street. The constant buzz of traffic disrupted what I hoped would be a serene and intimate meal; instead, I felt as if I was dining on a front porch, fully exposed to the open street. This lack of seclusion significantly detracted from my ability to appreciate the culinary offerings.I approached the menu with enthusiasm, having frequented several Michelin-starred establishments with comparable pricing. Opting out of the tasting menu in favor of larger shared portions, I was eager to sample the spectrum of Morla dishes presented. We were a group of 4, and I ordered every single item on the menu (12) and each taco/tostada items ordered two pairs. While I found the Branzino Griliado to be delightful, other selections such as the tostadas and tacos fell short, oscillating between culinary highs and mediocrities that disrupted the overall dining rhythm.Noise from the street was, regrettably, a persistent companion throughout the evening, further encroaching upon the dining atmosphere. Price is a crucial aspect of the fine dining equation, and it pains me to say that Morla seems overpriced by about 50% for the quality and ambiance it delivers. Miami is a playground of exceptional eateries that offer superior atmospheres, quality, and menu variety at similar price points, making it challenging for me to rate Morla alongside its local contemporaries. The digital presence of Morla is certainly deserving of applause; kudos to the web designer and photographer/videographer for crafting a compelling online experience. However, this artful representation sets expectations that the actual experience did not live up to, which can lead to disappointment for diners expecting more.In the spirit of constructive feedback, I believe that Morla Restaurant could greatly benefit from reevaluating its pricing strategy or relocating to a setting that matches the luxurious expectations set by its digital facade. It is difficult to justify premium prices when the ambiance suggests a more casual, less refined dining environment.I appreciate the efforts of the Morla team and hope to see them succeed by aligning their offerings more closely with customer expectations, whether through pricing adjustments or environmental enhancements. It is with a hopeful heart that I leave these three stars.

Don’t be fooled by the modest exterior of this place. Once inside you find yourself immersed in perfectly executed, beautifully imagined, and memorably delicious cuisine. I cannot say enough about how much my wife and enjoyed our evening here.

I dined solo as I was in town for work. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The food was even better. One of the best dining experiences I've had. If I make it back to Miami, I will make it back to Morla.

Excellent chef-owned restaurant! Husband & wife team totally in-sync. I've been here twice in the past 10 days. Superb ceviche toastados — do not miss this! Outstanding grilled branzino & grilled octopus was cooked to perfection. Also delicious shrimp tiradito & miso salmon. Nice Malbec by the glass & Mexican chenin blanc by the bottle. Parking lot across the street.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars! It is the best restaurant I have been to in Miami, a true hidden gem. As soon as you walk in the atmosphere is a lovely, cozy, chill vibe. It's dimly lit with lots of wood, plants, and ambiance lighting. The music playing was at a really tasteful volume and added to the very chill atmosphere of the restaurant. We truly enjoyed every song that came on.The owners are Ruben and Sharon Morla. The night we went, Ruben was there waiting on the tables. He is so knowledgeable and kind, we had a wonderful experience with him! We are hoping to see Sharon the next time we go back. You can tell that they love their food and their restaurant! The menu offers two tasting menus and then the regular a la cart menu. I love a good tasting menu, and we have been so excited to try this place, so we went with the first option. The first dish brought out was the ceviche tostada. It was nothing short of amazing. After the first bite my boyfriend said - oh, this place is legit. We went through the rest of the menu and everything was absolutely incredible. Chef Ruben has achieved such balance in every dish that is exceedingly hard to find at other restaurants. The array of dishes also left us so satisfied and not over-full. This restaurant deserves to be fully booked, every night of the week. Truly the best restaurant in Miami! I cannot wait to go back!!

Perfect evening at Morla for my wife's birthday . Greeted by the owners who cook and serve , personalized service , nicely appointed and pleasant ambiance. Food is for sharing and is terrific. Ceviche, salmon crudo, branzino, pork tacos, and homemade dessert. Wine and beer only. Explored a great cab from Mexico. Will return whenever in Miami.

I love this restaurant. My son introduced us to Morla recently and I have gone back a second time. The food is 5 star. It is creative, fresh and full of unique flavors. The husband and wife team that own the Restaurant are charming. The service and ambiance are exceptional. I wish I had more adjectives to describe Morla. Absolutely a MUST try restaurant

Regrettably, our visit to Morla for a business dinner was significantly marred by the waitress attending to our table. Right from the outset, her peculiar glance and inquisitive inquiry about how we discovered the restaurant when she opened the door should have been warning signs that we might have considered dining elsewhere. Throughout a series of awkward encounters, she fervently promoted the restaurant's "concept" of sharing smaller dishes (nothing unheard of), even though some items on the menu, like the branzino and fagottini di pasta farcita, were clearly meant for individual enjoyment. Despite our preference for ordering individual plates, she insisted otherwise, creating an exceedingly uncomfortable atmosphere throughout the entire meal. We were eager to leave, and ordering more dishes became a reluctant decision, which was only changed by the chef - who also served our table. He was exceptionally pleasant, and the food was delightful. However, it's safe to say we won't be returning.
