I ordered a trailer on Jan 27, 2024. At the time I was told it would be approximately 4 weeks before I received my trailer, possibly sooner since my trailer wasn't having a vent hood or fire suppression installed. A couple of weeks later I received a phone call from my sales rep Dante and one of his vendors (trying to sell me on credit card processing), and at that time he extended the delivery timeframe from 4 weeks to 4-6 weeks. After 6 weeks (with no communication from the company since the communication noted above), I reached out to Dante and he gave me somebody else's number (Marcelo, the service manager) to call about the status. I called and gave Marcelo my order number, and he said he'd get back to me with a status. I received a text back from Marcelo their lead time was 8-12 weeks and I should have never been told a 4 or 4-6 week lead time. Two days later (March 7, 2024) I received a text from Dante saying my trailer would be ready in 1-2 weeks. Dante has not responded to me since March 7, 2024. I called Marco on April 2, 2024 demanding either a firm delivery date or a refund. He said he would call me back, which hasn't happened. Tried calling Marcelo on April 11, 2024. He would not answer my calls. Spoke to Dante on April 11, 2024. He apologized for the delays and that Marcelo hasn't returned any of my calls. Said the trailer should arrive in 1-2 weeks. Spoke to Dante on April 16, 2024. He said the trailer should arrive between April 19 and April 26, 2024. It did not arrive within that timeframe. Regional Manager Arturo said it should arrive on May 8, 2024. It did not arrive. He stopped answering my calls around this time because of "a problem with the touch screen, as of now is in apple store through the company assurance and is taking longer than expected." He has never called me or answered a call since this time. The trailer arrived in San Marcos between May 19-20, 2024. They still had to add two fresh water lines and a drain line, and I told Marcelo I'd come in to show them the location once I had confirmation the trailer arrived. I went to the dealer on May 21, 2024, and walked yet another person (the name escapes me, possibly Moises) through where the lines should go. He video recorded this on his phone because Marcelo was not there. I was told the handyman was coming that day to do the work. He did not. It turns out Marcelo had to get "approval" to have this work one (even though it's on the sales order and on the blueprint). They did not do this work until May 28-29, 2024. I got calls/texts from Marcelo and Moises telling me the trailer was ready late afternoon on May 29. It was too late for me to go that day, so I planned on picking it up in the morning. At almost 9pm that evening I get the following text from Marcelo: "Hey Chad, please help me out picking up your trailer, I had to pay for the plumbing myself because the company didn't want to pay for it, I need you to pick up, everything was done, I know we take longer than you were expecting but it was the first time for me and my handyman doing that type of work for a trailer." Again, the water lines and drain line were /always/ a part of the original deal. I go to the dealer on May 30, 2024 @ 10a (the listed opening time). Gate is open, sign in the window says open, but Dante is too scared to come to the door (it's locked), and Marcelo is not on the premises. Surprise, the trailer is STILL not ready even though I was told it was. Electrical wires are hanging out of the front of the trailer with a 30-amp plug instead of a 50-amp plug, and there is no drain line in the trailer as requested. Allegedly the "handyman" is coming to fix these issues the same day. FYI, the particular TFT dealer you order from doesn't matter. The trailers all come from the same place.
Owner of Smokey Tails (Greg Moody) ABUSES HIS EMPLOYEE MENTALITY AND PHYSICALLY! Beware this man is an abusive person and doesn’t know how to respect people. He belittles his employee. On October 6th, 2022 I went to Smokey Trails to buy some ribs and I WITNESSED Greg Moody HIT HIS EMPLOYEE SO HARD IN HIS HEAD that he KNOCKED the guy’s hat to the floor. Poor thing was shaking and so confused on what my order was . Greg constantly speaks badly to him in front of his customers. How can someone be so cruel towards someone working for you ? I can’t even imagine how Greg acts with his family at home. Karma is gonna bite him back. He has NO RIGHT to put his hands on another human being. NO RESPECT for your employee, and for your customers that he does this in front of. I’M NEVER STEPPING FOOT THERE EVER AGAIN !!!
Love the food ?
Terrible! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 This happened to me in San Antonio. but it is the same company. Be careful! ❌Poor quality. I was four months waiting for my trailer, on the day of the "supposed delivery" it was not ready, they wanted to charge me a fee for parking, But the Traila was in terrible condition, the doors did not close properly, the water entered, the refrigerator had many scratches and bumps, the AC mini split with scratches too and pouring water into the Trailer, the windows and the musketeers did not close well, and As for aesthetic problems, a lot of scratches on the outside of the Traila, and rust, a lot of rust, the Traila too dirty inside and out. No one gave us an answer, we traveled 8 hours to pick it up and we couldn't accept a "$ 29,500 VERTEX Trailer" under those conditions. The following days Lorena Quiñones did not even answer the phone, she blocked our calls. ❌ The factory does not have quality controls to ensure the structure and the kitchen equipment. Neither "the customer service manager" Ricardo Roque, gave us an answer on the phone. We always mentioned that we could wait, because we preferred quality and not speed. but we wait too long and get the worst.
