Very happy with the experience. Had to order an extra $80 above and beyond the 11 course meal because I didn’t have any lunch tho!

enjoyable omakase experience with fresh fish. the options do reflect the pricepoint well, as, while still pricey, this is a lower end omakase option in the area.

Great Omakase spot with delicious dishes that include fresh sashimi, two types of soups (one that had a moshi based which was delicious) and a delicious cheesecake. Recommended!

Good

- Food tasted good even if some of the pieces looked like they were cut a little off

- Our waitress was kind

- Bad

Small pieces!

I have a few big issues with our experience. First, our chief did not introduce himself. We had no idea who our chef was or when our 10 course was going to start. It was a very young guy and honestly we expected someone with more experience because when some young kid came out we thought it was a sous-chef. Not even well dressed or a welcome. we were never told why each piece of fish was chosen, we never had a conversation about the food selection at all and it just seemed very off. It’s the chefs house so we feel proper acknowledgment and welcome is a big part of the experience. It also would have been nice if they said thank you and bye but he literally just left once dessert was handed out, which btw was the weakest part of the food. That dessert was not better than something at whole foods a slice of a custard cake that was good but nothing that left us amazed.

The way the layout is set is so….. it feels like an odd representation of what I feel an Omakase is. Considering that’s what this place seems to be heavily focused on. We did not see any of the food be cut or prepared it was.. Big pass just for this alone the counter should not be higher than the prep table in my opinion.

Bathroom? I’ve seen better bathrooms at less expensive a places. It just looked cheap and unconsidered. Why am I “complaining l about the restroom? Because it’s part of the experience. I love washing my hands in a clean restroom that smells good.

First and only time for us here. It has that Miami culture stigma. Where the chief cared more for who recommended us instead of what we like to eat. There just wasn’t that culture experience it was just here’s your food and that’s it.

My date did note that she was the only Asian in the entire restaurant. Is that a bad thing? Idk it’s like going to eat Colombian food but everyone is American. We eat Sushi at various other places and the culture representation does seem to add to a way better experience. For the price? We’ve spent more at other places and will be more than happy to continue experiencing those locations.

Just to note that after seeing other reviews it made me feel cut short since our pieces did not look as good.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mr. Omakase’s 10-course meal was nothing short of amazing ($60 each) — a true culinary journey. Every dish was beautifully crafted and bursting with authentic Japanese flavors. The staff was phenomenal, attentive, and clearly take pride in every detail. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for an elevated and genuine Japanese dining experience. We added on 2X A5 Wagyu and Japanese Uni & Unagi. For an additional $108.
Highly recommend 👌

I had heard a lot about this place, but i was somewhat underwhelmed. The chu-toro was excellent, but some of the dishes felt basic. To be fair, i went for Miami Spice, so there may be some dishes that would’ve swayed my opinion

Had 10 piece omakase, which was fantastic. The chef was really friendly, and the pieces we absolutely top notch. Only ding is that sake bottle prices are crazy expensive.

I went during Miami Spice and everything was so delicious, especially the hand roll and chef special nigiris. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. I will definitely come back to try their regular menu.
