Service was impeccable and I am not exaggerating when I say that this is one of my favorite omakases I've had outside of Japan. I eat quite a bit as well, and the portions were just enough to make you happily full. Great splurge for a special occasion.

Chef knows his stuff. Serious, meticulous menu. No gimmicks, no fads, pure unadulterated culture and great fish. Would come back to Miami just to eat here.
Exquisite!
Very unique and intimate experience. Both the food and the sake menu are one of a kind. If you are looking for something beyond the ordinary, yet truly authentic, look no further than NAOE.
This review has no intend to hate on the restaurants, but being a warning to people with similar tastes as mine.
I wish I googled what kind of Japanese omakase it would be before I decided to come. I’m not a stranger to delicacy food and kaiseki, but these taste palette left me very confused: huge slug, rice dessert, sea cucumber, etc. The chef approach is very unique and not everybody is ready for it.

The sushi was fresh, and the rolls were beautifully presented. The service was prompt, and the atmosphere was lovely. It’s my new favorite spot for sushi nights. Highly recommend giving it a try!
As a sushi lover, Naoe is an absolute must-visit! The quality of the fish is outstanding, and each dish is a work of art. The intimate setting and attentive service make for a perfect dining experience. I can't recommend it enough—definitely a gem for sushi enthusiasts!

The food is very delicious. Slow service, long time between meals. Recommended the Truffle sushi, the dumplings, the hot pot, among others, all delicious. The sushi ice cream dessert wow.

This is one of my favorite spots for Omakase. The quality and taste of all the varieties of sea food makes it an amazing experience. The chef served us Surf clams, they were delicious, but my favorite was the Camasuri if am spelling it correct lol, it’s sake cured Molet Rome ( fish eggs from the Molet) and the Eel
The place is very nice and relaxing, smooth dim light and soft melody's. I recommend this place 100 % if you want good fresh quality food and a a pleasant night

10/10. .. Chef Kevin's 28 course Omakase was incredible. and the intimate setting is unlie any other with just five patrons at each of two sittings. the three hour journey was unforgettable.
Note>. the store front looks like it's closed but just knock at the door and wait for an experience unlike any other

Any place that gives a thimble-sized dish and charges more than $2 for it should be banned. This place has no business even being around in business with the dishes they serve for the prices they charge. Let’s hope it closes and a Sushi Maki opens.

I returned back after many years. I found the food to be below average. They also push expensive sake that is not worth the value. Overall and I'm sorry to say, I have no reason to return again.-------------------------------Original Review - 2017I have no doubt this is one of the best small-table Omakase style restaurants within a thousand miles of Miami. I am from Manhattan so unfortunately I need to judge it based on what I'm accustom. First off, the price was comparable to high-end Omakase restaurants in Manhattan so they are just asking to be held to that standard. It's always fun to eat at a restaurant with an open kitchen, at NAOE the kitchen was amazingly clean, but just not that appetizing in appearance. Watching the Chef cook was also not that interesting, placing delicious fish under a salamander oven to finish and putting temperature probes into other items did not convey the mastery the Chef has obviously obtained. Much of the preparation was done in a private smaller kitchen so I did not see the point of the kitchen on display. The area for preparing sushi was just a small cutting board. The food itself was delicious and very fresh. The bento box was a nice change from an all sushi presentation, but the squash miso soup was lacking in flavor and balance, and the beet and grain cake seemed uninspired and plain. Everything else in the bento box was truly amazing. All of the sushi bites they served were outstanding, the rice was warm and perfectly seasoned. To my dismay we were only served 5 bites of sushi in a 12 course Omakase with 2 desert courses. That was very disappointing to me. The uni from Hokkaido was the star of the show. It was explained that it was a special kind that is not packaged with preservatives but rather with sea water and hence more expensive and harder to acquire. The remaining 4 bites of fish were delicious, but I so wanted to be impressed by the variety, rarity and preparation of the fish and the restaurant did not deliver. There were also no hand rolls or any type of small bite that is composed of fish, rice, and seaweed. Seaweed is another way (after rice and fish) I judge a sushi chef and restaurant. The deserts were very good and really showcased the creativity and culinary skill of the Chef. The staff at the restaurant were very educated on the food and really nice to talk with while we ate. The restaurant is very much in the upper echelon of sushi restaurants, but needs minor improvements to be truly great. Perhaps we will try it again when we go to Miami next if they don't take offense to my review. I very much respect what they have achieved.
