We’ve been staying at this hotel since 2016-17 and had a very positive prior experience. In fact, we’ve even recommended Fortune House to friends and family. Unfortunately this is not the case for this last stay. Maybe they have undergone ownership or management changes, and not only prices have gone up but quality of has really dropped. So the first room we checked in had a non working washing machine — and we came to realize it when we were already in pj’s, uber eats arriving and our clothes soaking wet with the drum full of water. The solution we were offered was that they could nicely let us in another unit so we could do our laundry (9pm) !!!! Either that or we could move our stuff to another unit. We moved to the other room, and did our laundry with no problem. May I mention that this room we moved to was an obvious downgrade from the previous one. I called to say I was not paying the “hotel fee” for that night. The next night we woke up at 3am when the units temperature was set to 70 but was 78 F! It was 4:30 and 75 with the door open when we called … they sent security (?) up to check…. And he said they would send someone in the morning. This was the 2nd (of 3) nights that we paid for having a rest and relaxing time and ended up getting the opposite. For the last night they changed units for us to stay at at “mega luxurious 2 bedroom unit..” which we said we didn’t mind if it was luxurious or not, we just needed it to be funcional. I also stated I wasn’t paying for the hotel fee for the second night. The manager was “still too busy” to talk to us before we moved to the two bedroom unit… so much for customer care! That last night was ok, they even gave us a late checkout becase of our troubles ;) When they sent the bill-guess what? Yes, and I had to incur in long distance phone charges to call and make sure they don’t charge those two fees. All we wanted was some rest and to have a good time, and this time it wasn’t possible to do so in Fortune House. We had another trip to visit them in Jan and will be staying elsewhere. Needless to say: stay away!

My favorite hotel in Miami for a few reasons. First, it gives a true apartment/condo vibe which I love! Second, the views in Brickell are breathtaking. Third, The staff is nice & attentive. They respond quickly and notify you if any deliveries come for you. You have the option to text them, sooo convenient for when I’m not at the hotel. Lastly, the place is clean! Cleaning staff comes daily but I’m general I usually have to change rooms at hotels once I check sheets and such. But this place is easily a 10/10. No brainer! They have a pool and gym and then a restaurant in the lobby.

Hotel always good this year my room and bathroom was little. Run down and toilet was not working correctly. Overall love the hotel will be back hopefully I get a better room but the pool and gym love it

My Husband and I stayed at the Fortune House Hotel for our 6 year anniversary this past weekend and we experienced the best customer service we ever have had in the city of Miami at this hotel. Julia at the front desk upgraded our room, took the time take us on a tour and gave us drink passes. 10/10 we definitely recommend.

My family and I had a great time staying at this hotel, spacious apartments, perfect for the entire family, and the view from our two bedroom was beautiful, we were able to cook in the morning and eat out at night. We loved it. We will be back.

Shower had no pressure we couldn’t use it all weekend we could only use the other for 4 people and front desk didn’t seem phased. Bed sheets had huge whole & housekeeping wouldn’t change them for a 4 night stay. Only allowed 4 towels so 1 per person and none for outside shower floor to not slip nor face/hands. Brought expired diet coke & still charged us. Friends room stunk of weed & front desk laughed and said housekeeping wasn’t able to get the smell out. Left a backpack behind and no one called to tell us until after we called hours later, likely only because they saw designer items and an ipad inside.

Condo is old, it’s not fully clean, balcony and it’s door is very dirty. A/C it’s inside the room and it’s very noisy. It’s like from the 80’s. Kitchen it’s not fully equipped. Not even a chef knife. Note even a cleaning cloth. The mattress are cheap. Reserved at Expedia and fully paid. They charge is 30 usd for resort fee. This is not a resort. And we previously paid full. The charge it’s not supposed to be. It’s not worth the price.

We checked out before 2:00, dropped the key in the box and ubered to do some shopping. They charged my credit card an extra 300.00 the next day, tried to say we didn't check out on time because my car was still in parking lot. I told them to check their security cameras to see what time I put the key in the box, the assistant manager, Julia hung up on me.

Fantastic service, modern apartments which were immaculately clean. Check-in smooth and professional. This was a last minute emergency booking after our previous booking with another rogue agent turned our to be a scam. Although nothing to do with Fortune House, the staff took on a personal responsibility to turn our weekend around by ensuring everything from then on ran smoothly. The welcome Prosecco was much needed and found the staff super empathetic to our situation and helpful.
I just came from Florida and I stood at the Fortune House hotel. My experience was amazing and I can’t wait to go back. They upgraded our room to a 2 bedroom changed our towels daily and I loved the kitchen area because we were able to save money. They are located in a great area not too far from a mall, Bayside, and Miami Beach.

We have just left this wonderful hotel after a 2 day stay here earlier this week. My son & I found it to be perfect for our needs. Booking on line was easy and our direct contact with the very helpful and friendly receptionist started remotely as we waited in line to eventually clear immigrations at the airport. Never had that before. Anyway, on arrival the same lady explained the valet parking arrangements (35$ per day) and checked us in. We had a number of questions to help orientate ourselves and she answered them all with good grace. She then topped everything by offering us a free upgrade to a suite overlooking the bay on the 26th floor. Wow!! Very many thanks!!! The suite had everything we could possibly need. Two bedrooms with large double beds. One had an en-suite bathroom with a shower in the bathtub. There was a separate dressing room with a small safe (unfortunately too small for my laptop.). There was a separate bathroom next to the other bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave. In another cupboard we found (and used) the washing machine and tumbler dryer. In total we counted three large flat screen TVs and once having worked magic with the technical details we were able to follow a European soccer match live via my laptop and the connection to the largest TV in the main sitting room area. The free WiFi was excellent. I drank all the coffee made available including much of the extra sachets sent up to the room on the second day. I started each day with an early morning mug of coffee relaxing on the small balcony overlooking the bay. By the way, everything was spotlessly clean and all the furnishing were modern and complemented the place perfectly. All in all this was an excellent start for our three week father/son road trip along the east coast of the USA.

We booked a room block of one and 2 bedroom suites for my daughters wedding. The rooms were all very spacious, clean and had wonderful views. We also held a welcome drinks reception on the pool deck one evening that was amazing! The hotel managers worked with me to ensure our event was exactly like we planned. Location is also great! I definitely recommend staying here.

My husband and I visited Miami for the first time, we were visiting for a family wedding. Upon check in we were greeted by the kindest and most helpful staff members. We received an upgrade and absolutely loved the room we were given! When we return for future stays we definitely will stay again!

Great view and location. The service was super friendly and perfect. We got an room upgrade for free. The rooms were absolutely perfect and includes all we need and more. Also the valet parking was good and fast with unlimited drive-in/out.
