The food here used to be great, after not coming for 2 years i went yesterday because I was in the area and it was so so bad. The waitress was horrible, was too busy chit chatting with the other girls and she never brought my mothers food out. The casamiento was spoiled i nearly gagged and spit it out. The pupusas were bland & my pollo a la plancha tasted like they just threw it on the grill with a bunch of oil and not one pinch of seasoning. Oh and i also found a hair in my repollo. This place is disgusting and i dont recommend it

When you order online they always give you the wrong food. Either is wrong or they are missing food.

We went on Friday the 13. The services was horrible the food crazy look like the oil was super old. But what make our night the worst it was a cockroach on the wall I told the lady and the cook from the kitchen came out kill the roach with her shoes and clean the wall and the floor with a white towel then she took the towel and rapped up with her apron, I told her sorry but that towel is dirty put it in the garbage and she replied to me no is not I’m going to keep using it. My baby got sick and cousins too. We never go back to this place. I’m not posting the video or pictures because of the owners but they need to keep and eye on this place the cooks, service and the cleaning of the restaurant. Spend $170 dollars just to get sick.

I had an amazing experience at San Salvador #5. Not only is their cuisine incredibly authentic and flavorful—the dishes truly transported me back to El Salvador but the staff went above and beyond when I accidentally left my purse behind. I didn’t realize it was missing until the next day, and when I arrived , they had safely stored it for me. Everything was intact, and they returned it with such kindness and honesty. It’s rare to find a place with both outstanding food and such trustworthy, caring service. Highly recommended!

Liked the food a lot here but unfortunately today ordered pupusas and found a bandaid in my food. Absolutely disgusted. That’s all I need to say.

The food is well priced and tastes good. The service could be a little slow depending when you visit but overall it is good, probably quicker when you order to pick up and the atmosphere is comfortable but could feel a little cramped if you visit to dine-in when it is busy. P.S., whomever cooks dinner shift cooks better steak than the morning/lunch chef. I recommend the Sopa de Res and the Bandeja Salvadoreña.

How sad, in fact, this was my favorite place to eat. The waitress arrives and has no way of expressing herself to the customers. We asked for a table. She told us that there weren't 3 available. More customers will arrive behind us. She gave them to us. She never told us. nothing and we are like fools waiting although the food is very good but they need to change staff I think they don't want to work anymore, my family went to eat every week but with this I don't think so anymore they need classes to learn how to treat customers, the waitress who served them is walking more asleep than awake

It's a terrible service, the worst thing that can happen and the worst thing is that the waitresses are thieves, I spent 85 Pages with 100 and they didn't give me the money, what an ugly case those waitresses were, and the worst thing is that it wasn't even her who served us, but a boy what an ugly case, the truth is I don't recommend this restaurant
