I’ve been coming here almost every month since 2023 but today’s experience is disappointing, mainly because of the rude hostess.
This girl (the one without glasses, dark brown hair and no suit) claimed that they don’t have a table for outdoor at first. She offered bar seats and I declined. Then she acted sassy and said she didn’t know the wait time; while there is outdoor table availability on Resy in the meantime for a reservation in 5 mins.
Then I had to talk with another hostess when she was on the phone - this girl confirmed the outdoor table is available NOW. Apparently the availability magically showed up.
The first hostess wasn’t professional nor friendly - she needs additional trainings to learn how to do her work and how to act friendly but not sassy to the customers.
Food is good but this is not the quality of service to be expected.

I recently visited Osaka Miami in Brickell and it turned out to be a really memorable dining experience. The restaurant has a stylish, modern atmosphere with dim lighting and a trendy vibe that feels both elegant and lively. It’s definitely the kind of place where people come to enjoy great food and a fun night out.
What makes Osaka special is its Nikkei cuisine, a unique fusion of Japanese techniques and Peruvian flavors. The dishes are creative and beautifully presented. I especially loved the ceviche and sushi—everything tasted fresh, bold, and perfectly balanced with citrus and spices.
The cocktails were also impressive, especially the pisco-based drinks that pair really well with the food. Service felt polished and attentive, and the staff were helpful when recommending dishes.
Overall, Osaka Miami feels like a high-end, cosmopolitan restaurant where the food, drinks, and atmosphere all come together. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but the quality and experience make it worth it for a special dinner in Brickell.
If you enjoy sushi with a creative twist and a stylish Miami vibe, Osaka is definitely a place I’d recommend.

My wife and I absolutely loved our experience at Osaka Miami. The food was outstanding, with the combination of Japanese and Peruvian flavors offering a wonderful blend. We sat at the sushi bar, which was great. We particularly enjoyed the Akami Truffle (bluefin tuna, Peruvian chilli sauce, Kyuri chalaquita, sepia crackers), Nori Furai (salmon, avocado, crispy nori, tare criollo), Nikkei Salad (quinoa, seaweed, kyuri, mix lettuce, almond ra-yu, sesame dressing).

Osaka Miami has some of the best Japanese food in Miami. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional.
I wasn’t feeling well and ordered a ginger ale, and our server kindly offered to prepare something special that would help settle my stomach. He brought me a custom drink, and it genuinely made me feel much better. That level of care and attention truly impressed me.
My favourite dish was the salmon tiradito with passion fruit — fresh, flavourful, and perfectly balanced. Overall, an amazing dining experience with outstanding service. I’ll definitely be back.
