I went to the restaurant because i have a friend that goes there all the time, but the last time we spoke he stated that the food was not tasting the same. I did get an order of wings and fries once they were okay, but today i order two lunch specials. When i got my order, it was someone else food so i had to return the food and they didn't have any curry chicken ready. My bake chicken was very blend when it came to flavor i do understand that cooking for the public, we have to be mindful when using salt or season, but you can never go wrong with herbs. Lastly, the brown stew was dry and over cooked i had to return that and was given bake chicken instead. I really think this place has space to grow, but they need to do whatever they did to build their customer because ppl will stop coming if there keeps being too many mistakes

Food is amazing so many choices I'm always confused however it's a beautiful cashier always guides me with her beautiful smile food is the best hands down no complaints here delicious

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a local Black-owned soul food restaurant in my hometown Liberty City, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The portions were generous, and the meatloaf was absolutely flavorful—just the kind of comfort food I was craving.
I can’t wait to return for the yams, which were the perfect complement to the meal. On top of the great food, it was wonderful to meet the chef, who was incredibly warm and welcoming. Overall, this spot delivers both on food and hospitality, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

The food was not good at all if you are advertising wings you should be selling wings not baby wing portions.Pork chop was salty, Macaroni and cheese is a hell no corn bread cost $4 and was not tasteful at all.Also the chicken and fries tray was oily had no paper at the bottom so everything was grease.It was my first and last time never again horrible.

Are you kidding me??! How one can cook SO WELL?! ? My husband was hoping to get southern food while here in Florida, and this place did not disappoint! We actually were on the way to another restaurant when we saw Our Papa's Kitchen. It was already getting late and we decided give it a shot. It was sooo good (greens, seafood and yellow rice, mac and cheese, fish, shrimps, and wings - EVERYTHING!), that later we ordered more via DoorDash ? Ladies that work there are beyond amazing as well! While we were waiting on our food they gave my daughter warm right out of the oven sprinkle waffle
I really like the food. It’s unfortunate that it’s not consistent, it seems the food tastes better when it’s cooked during the week instead of on the weekends.
I have tried to order twice on the weekend and the food has been terrible both times that i ordered it. The seafood rice tastes like old and fresh rice mixed together, it was hard, gummy and soft at the same time. The candy yams wasn’t sweet enough and very stringy. The potato salad had too much salary and another spice that overwhelmed it. The cornbread was the only thing that was good.
If I order anything again it will be during the weekdays.

The food was horrible!? I could have visited any hospital cafeteria and found better tasting food! I had the half chicken (lemon pepper?) with collards,Mac and cheese,yellow rice. The Chicken looks dry and tasted like it was cooked the day before.The collard greens was bland,the Mac and cheese was mediocre.I don't know who told the restaurant owner that they can cook because nope! If others found this food delicious,either something is wrong with their taste buds or they don't know how food should taste I hope the cook reads these reviews.Never going back!?
