I don't understand how this chain is still in business. PF Chang as a restaurant is basically the embodiment of baby boomers world view. We ordered 3 different entrees, a salad, appetizer soup, specials beverage. Everything is PACKED with sugar, super greasy, deep fried.
Eating here, I couldn't help but think that the menu isn't developed by a chef that respects their craft. It's developed by a corporate board of directors that took a vote to pack more sugar into everything because the unsuspecting American pallet will keep coming back thinking their cooking is so magically good, not that there is about a half cup of sugar in everything.
Their specials is a master class on nickel and diming you. You start with a $20 3-course special, but get upcharged 3 times, once for the entree, once for noodles instead of rice and again for appetizer. And thus a $20 3-course meal is closer to $40 after tax and tip for nothing special from a culinary perspective, or any particularly expensive ingredients.
Having been to China and eating real (and very tasty) Chinese food, I don't think any Chinese person would endorse this restaurant as representative of their culture or cuisine. I get it, to each their own, but given that this restaurant is in Miami, there are about 10,000 better choices for the price point.
The server was pleasant and attentive.

I hosted a lunch at PF Chang’s for my mom’s 92nd birthday, and while the experience was not the best the way the company responded made all the difference. I reached out to them and Lawrence contacted me promptly and resolved the issue to my full satisfaction. You really see the strength of a company in how they handle problems, and PF Chang’s showed they care about their customers.

Food, place, all good but honestly the best service I've ever had at this place by Tony D. Amazing guy, and patient with my Spanish speaking family with a million allergies to attend to. Defenetly would come back if it was for Tony being my server.
