the worst experience, we made a reservation and when we get there the rstaurant was closed, taxi round trip 50 USD and no meal, no body care about customers, no body told us it was closed, the reservation was confirmed
Very good food and large portions . Great destination for fancy Italian in a fun hood
The place is lovely. Very stylish and comfortable. There is, however, no parking. Service is excellent, the menu is great. We came for lunch and ordered the spaghetti à la vongole and the fried seafood platter. Both looked amazing. The pasta was excellent, great flavor, very fresh and the clams were cooked just right. The fried seafood, however, left much to be desired. It was all very dry, especially the shrimp and the salmon. You couldn't taste the calamari. I was very disappointed. But this is a nice place if you pick the right thing from the menu. Not sure if l'll try it again.
One of the few Italian places in Miami that has delicious homemade pasta. Excellent and not expensive food prices. Good wines and very relaxed environment. The place is suitable exclusively for lovers of quality pasta and the absence of noise and chatting guests.
Visited Palat for my Birthday, and the atmosphere, food and service were all amazing! The manager Alexander took the best care of my family, and the food was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a great Italian restaurant, with great customer service Palat is your spot. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 5 stars!! ? Will definitely be coming back.
The food is excellent! I have lived in Italy and I’m well traveled person. The gnocchi was the best I’ve ever had. It was chef’s special with crab meat on op of it. The softest gnocchi ever!! Just melting in your mouth. Pasta from the cheese bowl is also spectacular. Definitely recommend and will be coming back again.
My husband and I opted for a Palat reservation after reading reviews on another website. Our goal was to have a delicious Italian inspired meal in a relatively quiet and friendly spot since we are out of town. Palat surpassed our hopes beginning with Hector, our server. He was charming and attentive and our meal and wine served flawlessly. The food was exceptional and we suggest the Buffalo mozzarella starter. Heavenly! We would dine there again. Suggest you reserve a table at 8:30 or later when Miami residents like to dine.
I booked this place accidentally. I thought I was booking at a restaurant in Upper Buena Vista but to my mistake turned out to be a delight. What an UNDERRATED Restaurant! I have been living in Miami for 15 years and I can't believe I had never been there until now. The service was so nice, the Italian food is really good. The meatballs have a bit of saffron flare so don't order them if you are expecting traditional marinara meatballs (these are quite interesting) We were a party of 3, and only one of us had a beer, and each had one meal and ordered one appetizer to share and the bill was $120. Not bad for the beautiful ambiance and quality food in Miami. I will definitely go back.
The food was fabulous and plentiful. We wound up ordering several small plates and only 1 main course as it was all so scrumptious. The seafood—the Clams Casino with Mussels appetizer was enough for 5 of us and divine . Chock full of clams and mussels in a broth that was amazing and splendid for dipping with the great fresh crusty bread that was continuously refreshed. The octopus, beef carpaccio, burrata with prosciutto, Caesar and arugula greens salad were all very tasty, shareable and the lobster linguine main course superb. The desserts were great especially the chocolate and the pistachio I gelato and Pane Cote. The wine list was very reasonable and the service (Marco) was excellent. We will be back and highly recommend this restaurant. It has fast became one of our Miami favorites. .
Third time dining at Palat, food is always great. This time around I feel like service was average. Waiter didn't check in much with us. I dislike when I have to ask other staff for assistance. Also parking can be a little tricky as valet was full. Lastly they don't have a full bar. Which to me is fine because I like the Italian barra.

Everything was delicious! It was me and my boyfriend's anniversary and everything we ordered was fantastic. The service was a little slow, but the fantastic bread they kept bringing to our table definitely helped. The grilled calamari was fresh and incredibly tasty, the sea urchin pasta was exquisite and flavorful, the salmon was perfectly cooked and was very tasty, and the caramel cheesecake was some of the best I've ever had. Great experience and will definitely be back!
We met a relative who was in town for dinner. Three great Italian meals, very good wine, and excellent service from Mark, our waiter. We will return when in the area!
Enjoyable lunch with a friend. We were welcomed by the host and lead to a quiet, inside dining table of our choice. Our wine order was served right away. We ordered two pasta dishes, the lobster special and fettuccine Alfredo. Both were delicious. Our server was very attentive. I recommend Palat to friends for the food, service and enjoyable dining experience. This restaurant is great for those who want to talk and hear each other. The noise level is low. There also is a nice outdoor patio.
Great place with great food. Unfortunately, there are few of them in Miami, this is one of the few. The only minus is that many of the waiters don't understand English at all.
Palat was excellent. The food was served hot, the portions were generous and the flavors were delicious. The servers were very attentive. My one disappointment was at the end of the meal - we ordered coffees and a dessert. The dessert came out quickly and the coffees took an extra 15 minutes which seemed excessive and made us feel like we were waiting.
