I used to always eat here in my younger years, so it’s nice to see that the place is still standing and the food is still good. Came here for my dad’s birthday on Thursday and our waitress, Tee Tee, made sure that he had a great time. The food was good and we were both happy that we decided to dine here.

This is my second time patronizing this restaurant. The food is on point. I enjoyed it. It was conveniently located on my commute. You can access by bus or train or drive there. I would recommend to order ahead to cut down on time. If you want an authentic black experience I definitely recommend this spot. Near or far it's worth the trip. I will add more pictures and reviews as I work myself into being a regular. 😉

Overpriced and terrible customer service. My order was wrong and the price they charged me was different than the online and menu price, when I asked about the difference in prices, she told me they change every day. I will never argue with a cashier while waiting for my food so I left & let her desperate, thirsty, needy, and lying self have it. Got my food and everything I was charged for wasn’t in it!!! Last time ever going to that nasty, filthy, and dirty restaurant.

Trying to figure out how someone who ordered two orders behind me for takeout got their order before me? Oh my bad the know one of the workers. Problem is I'm at work also on break and to put one customer above another is bad business, at least where I'm from. Then didn't get my food until 10 mins after. So to the guy in the Grey shorts and white t-shirt, just know you caused the girl with the two braids a $6 tip. This Is why I always wait till I get my food to tip. To top everything off the plates were light also smh. Thank you for responding and I hope this will be resolved because this isn't the first time this issue has happened just my first time addressing it as I try to be supportive of black owned businesses. One more time and my family and me will be lost as customers forever.

Got food poisoning from them on Sunday night I’m still sick as a dog and it’s Thursday. Haven’t eaten anything since then I can’t even keep down water. The place need a deep cleaning or they need to stop serving old meats to ppl.

I waited over 15 minutes before asking if o could be settled and letting them know all the tables were dirty and they ask me to give them a minute I waited about another 20 minutes asked for the manager nobody seems to know who the manager is so I left. Never again please don’t go here very unprofessional and dirty.
