We had the oxtail with rice and plantains. The food is wonderful - the meat was falling off the bones tender and bathed in a delicious sauce that also was good mixed with the rice.
You need to ask for piklez but you want something vinegary and crisp to balance the richness of the oxtail.
The restaurant is clean and spare - the focus is on the food. Service is leisurely but we weren't in a hurry. It was worth the wait.

My friends and I were visiting from NYC where there is a large Haitian population. I felt this meal surpassed many of the restaurants I’ve experienced living in Brooklyn. We got the fried goat, pork, and stew chicken. Everything was freshly cooked and each bite was so flavorful. We appreciated the restaurant was not crowded, and we enjoyed sampling each other meals. I HIGHLY recommend the pork. Melts in your mouth. Fair price and our waitress was very kind and sweet.

It could have been better
The fish and plantains I got for breakfast was not good at all. The fish was all lemon and I couldn't eat it. The bean sauce was so watery it ran straight through the rice when we added on top. I will never go to this restaurant again.

Food is very fresh and seasoned perfectly. It's a little small inside, but the service is great, and your order is prepared fresh. If your in that area stop by you want regret it

Cook food a lot of time👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 I’m not recommend this restoraunt, also not delicious, don’t go to this restaurant
Since I was in the Miami area for vacation, my husband and I wanted to experience the different cultures. We went to this restaurant & ordered fried pork that came with beans and rice, salad, and plantains. The lady who took our order was very rude. I understand there was a language barrier, but a smile is welcoming in any language. The food had no seasoning, the pork was dry, & the establishment was not welcoming. I felt like I was impeding on their resturant.

Born and raised in Miami in Haitian household don’t judge a book by it’s cover there’s a reason why this place is still open and they only accept cash it’s been like that for years too.The food is authentic will be back but don’t tell my mom that eat here if you’re looking for good authentic Haitian food your welcome 💪🏽

The food was alright but the building conditions are terrible. Water damage & mold everywhere. There are literally holes in the ceiling. It looks like it could collapse at any moment.

They changed the prices on everything now, so just be aware. Prices are not the same. Good food, good service.

Delicious authentic Haitian food. Had the fried fish and oxtails, both of which came with plantains, salad and rice and beans plus some pikliz.
