We had the oxtail with rice and plantains. The food is wonderful - the meat was falling off the bones tender and bathed in a delicious sauce that also was good mixed with the rice.
You need to ask for piklez but you want something vinegary and crisp to balance the richness of the oxtail.
The restaurant is clean and spare - the focus is on the food. Service is leisurely but we weren't in a hurry. It was worth the wait.
My friends and I were visiting from NYC where there is a large Haitian population. I felt this meal surpassed many of the restaurants I’ve experienced living in Brooklyn. We got the fried goat, pork, and stew chicken. Everything was freshly cooked and each bite was so flavorful. We appreciated the restaurant was not crowded, and we enjoyed sampling each other meals. I HIGHLY recommend the pork. Melts in your mouth. Fair price and our waitress was very kind and sweet.
Food is very fresh and seasoned perfectly. It's a little small inside, but the service is great, and your order is prepared fresh. If your in that area stop by you want regret it
