They insisted that I switch languages which initially was fine. Then I asked for a smoothie and asked the lady if it was okay that they mix two flavors she said it was fine. She then proceeded to charge me for three smoothies when I had only asked her for one. Instead of trying to fix it by giving me my money back she tried to get me to simply just buy something else because it was too much work for her. Not only did she overcharge me but while ordering she had no idea what was on her menu and insisted that I change my order multiple times instead of asking her management how to carry out her job. Simply to say I will not be returning to this establishment.

I usually do not write reviews but this is the second time my experience here is unpleasant. I have been coming to this bakery since it opened and remember how the staff USE TO BE.
Today my husband and I went at around 2:45- there was only 2 people dining in. We asked for capuccino when we bit into it it was dry and hard. We brought it to the lady working there attention- her reply was- these are not the same as in Cuba and that is was not a cappuccino. First off I was born in Miami I know what a cappuccino is. A smart customer oriented employee would have offered a fresh one- she did not- she gave us attitude and started to tell us what a cappuccino was - we ASKED AND POINTED to what we wanted. This is the second time this lady challenges me as a customer - she so rude!!!!!!!

The worst experience of my dad’s life. What a sad day it is when your 71 year old handicap father goes in to buy pastelitos and is told he is not welcome in this bakery . All because they thought he is Nicaraguan. The manager had prohibited a group of Nicaraguan men from going to this location, she thought my dad was one of them and was told that he couldn’t be in this facility or purchase his pastelitos. My dad being the kindest human in the world just walked out and went to another one of their bakeries. Let it be clear that this is not acceptable. My dad is handicap, has a very hard time walking and was turned away. Truly heartbreaking. I put this review on my instagram as well and the bakery reached out to me to find out when the incident happened. I told the lady I would find out and call her back, I did so immediately and spoke to another lady. It had been 4-5 days before. She said she would call me back, has never called me back. This went viral, she has told my followers that she has apologized and has been in contact with me. Let it be clear that an apology was NEVER issued. Not only are they racist, they also lie to their clients. I wasn’t planning on writing this review, but lying to your clients to make yourself look better…. UNACCEPTABLE.

NOT ONLY IS THIS PLACE HORRIBLE TO ELDERS BUT THEIR FOOD IS STALE AND NOT FRESH.

Awful! I came from Broward to try their famous croquettes. Buy 2 cod and 2 house. The baddest croquettes in the world. The coconut cake barely had any coconut in it and was soggy. I bought a candy that I don't even know what it's called and it's hard and dry, like it's been there in the fridge for days. How disgusting it all is, $17 dollars thrown in the trash.

I just bought 3 empanadas and 2 bono breads and had to throw them away. The empanadas were cold and old and the bono bread was hard as a rock. What a waste of money.
