None of the employees at this location ever have a good attitude. The food sometimes can be dry. Because of that I try to avoid coming here but for a last minute option sometimes I will decide to get dinner here. But after picking up some food a few weeks ago (my 1st review didn't show publicly for some reason) I wont be back to this location. Maybe it's just my personal preference but I didn't find it sanitary for the employee to spary down the stove while chicken was out in the open like how it is in the photo, or with the food exposed behind him. In the photo you do not see the mist from the spary in the air but the mist was definitely taking over the air space. So I don't see how it wouldn't have made it on to the food around him. At that point I grew concern about what the food was exposed to as the employees were cleaning and serving food at the same time to go be able to go home at midnight (I was there an hour before closing). It was gross to say the
least. I won't be back.

I never understood in the drive thru the purpose of the employee standing way up front in the line
Stacking up cars in the parking lot while the line is completely empty.
Why don’t they stand closer to the original voice box so the traffic accumulates inside the line rather than in the parking lot
It’s not just this Pollo Tropical that does this it’s nearly all of them

If you ever wondered what it feels like to pay full price for half an order, or sometimes no order at all, this is the perfect spot for you. Three days ago, I ordered a platter — surprise, surprise, they forgot the beans. Yesterday, I thought maybe lightning wouldn’t strike twice, so I tried a boneless chicken platter. Guess what? They forgot the chicken. Imagine Pollo Tropical serving you a platter with no pollo. That’s like Starbucks selling you an empty cup and calling it a latte.
When I went back to confront the manager (because who wouldn’t?), he admitted this time it was their mistake but claimed last time it was mine. Apparently, when I returned the entire package last time, he later “found the beans” in the bag. Maybe he has a side gig dumpster diving, who knows.
And instead of apologizing, he doubled down and got rude. Bold strategy — rob customers of food, time, and money, then accuse them on top of it. Honestly, I should’ve called the cops for the little robbery going on here, but I decided not to waste any more of my life at this filthy place. I did call corporate though, so let’s see if they care enough to do anything or if this manager keeps running his comedy show.
So yeah, if you enjoy paying for food that never arrives and being accused of lying about it, this is your spot. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and eat literally anywhere else.
Also i think the managers name is Jose. He was in red Tshirt. If you guys had the same experience then please share it. This place doesn’t even deserve a 1 star TBH. I love pollo tropical but the management at this location is awful.

Long story short this review stuff is not really me, but God bless the gentleman who works nights in the drive-through. I don’t know his name unfortunately, but he needs a raise and acknowledgment. Such a positive outgoing man. typically you don’t get this type of service in fast food, but it’s good to see once in a while. Maybe these type of acknowledgments get shown to him so hopefully it does!!!
Keep that energy my man it’s gonna take you places. God is good and karma is real. You keep putting good. It’s gonna come right back to you!!!!!

I Ordered a whole family meal. I chose both meat types and they didn’t put any chicken breasts nor wings. All I got was the leg and thigh. I called customer service, but no one answered. The portions felt smaller. Very disappointed.

Employees are trying but food prep simple order totally dropped the ball. Had to update this review there so bad at what they do where do I start. There have a drive through and instead of using it they have a guy in 100 degree weather taking orders in the middle of an already busy small parking lot. I had to go inside to order cuz I wanted to see the menu then I got trapped in the parking lot due to the stupidity of the drive through situation . You not chick filla and you never will be stop trying and just be you . Also prices nearly doubled and you get less chicken then in the past not Worley’s the time energy and money . I will so shout out to the only competent employee there iv come across. Thank you for keeping me level headed Michael !

Terrible service. My chicken Caesar salad didn't have chicken. The croutons were soggy, with no cheese or sauce! I'll never return.
Very good attentive service - no long wait., @ a very nice place inside the large facility or outside on the front dining area.
Great for single, family dining, or takeout.
PLUS: senior discount. Yess!
