SHUT IT DOWN!!! Serving pink cold chicken , everybody got an attitude. God forbid you ask for sauce on the side to go, answer is no. This is not what students deserve.

The manager was very outspoken and the service was insanely quick.

+ The Pollo Tropical in Little Havana is on a great location, directly opposite the Cuban Memorial Park on Calle 8. + And we can tell you, it tastes way better than it looks! Pollo Tropical is a Florida-based fast-food chain specializing in food inspired by Latin-Caribbean cuisines. It is best known for marinated and grilled chicken and various sides including black beans and rice, mojo roast pork and more. Follow the link in our Profile Page to see more details!

Food is pretty good and affordable, but the wait can be a bit long especially during lunch hours. They also don’t have all the options that other Pollo Tropicals have. And if you order from the campus Grubhub app it doesn’t tell you when the food is ready at Pollo, you just got to check the counter.

The worst tropical chicken I have ever been to, the portions according to the Manager are less because that is how tropical chicken works at FIU. so students eat less? !!!!! The delay in delivering the food in the preparation part is too long, the food is not of any quality.
And when you ask them your concern, their Manager's response is very rude, those are the portions here.

This used to be my go-to lunch place on campus. I don't know what happened but after the renovations, it has become a worse restaurant. I thought that now that the only way to order is through an iPad that the food quality would improve, but instead it has gotten worse. Multiple times I have received the wrong food, and yesterday I got sick from eating here. I have been eating here for the past three semesters, and I have never had a problem.

STINGY OWNERS LOSE CUSTOMERS.Save your money and your dignity, eat at 8th Street Kitchen, or maybe Almazar... or maybe out of the garbage?Portions are SMALL compared to any other Pollo Tropical, no extra sauces when you ask. Chicken is cold and rice is hard.Food was good until something changed in the management, and now you pay 11$ for food AND LEAVE HUNGRY AND DEPRESSED. DO NOT EAT HERE.
