The pollo tropical in 26 street give terrible service, you ask for a whole chicken and they give you all chicken breast. It’s been several times that they do this. If I wanted extra chicken breast I would ask for it. Brought it to the attention of the night shift manager and he mocked me.
Extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. It really makes you wonder what kind of customer service is being given when the actual manager treats customers badly. From the looks of all the reviews this happens with the management consistently. DO NOT GO TO THIS POLLO TROPICAL. CUSTOMER SERVICE -100.

I ordered a cheese quesadilla with chicken and when I took a bite it was cold and the chicken was dry and burnt. I opened the quesadilla and the cheese wasn’t an even melted. It was still in its original form. As I was speaking to the workers the main manager walked up and he understood my concern. He was nice enough to get my order fixed although I think a refund and free food would have been better. But I do appreciate the managers effort. I am leaving a 1 star as motivation for the crew so they can become a better team and deliver better quesadillas.

Very bad experience, ordered a family whole chicken with three sides and did not get the fries nor the bread. There is not a number to call directly to the restaurant, it is a number for general questions and nobody answer.

No one speaks English and your online order is always late and they keep you waiting and don't help you until you get upset.

Literally 8 cubes of small chicken pieces in a small tropichop. $9.00 seriously barely any beans, mostly white rice. Pero poquito, poquito, poquitisimo. Keep it.

Pollo Tropical is famous for is whole chickens and a variety of sauces. The sides here are Cuban, and plates typically come with white rice and black beans, and an additional side, such as yuca, ripe plantains (the sweet cooked bananas), and more. The guava BBQ sauce is unique, and the spicy polo polo sauce is nicely spicy. Request the sauces if you order to go. We had a rather large mixup on our order, hence the lower score. Pollo Tropical is one of the best values in town with half a chicken, rice, beans, a roll, and another side for $9.99. However, it is not the most flavorful or terrific, not for a special date night (unless you're on a budget and then no one goes home hungry). The same mall has a fancier Columbian restaurant near Pollo Tropical, and a Mexican restaurant that will serve as date night places, while Pollo Tropical is for a good meal at a great price when no one has time to cook, or for people on a budget.

I go to this location almost daily. ALWAYS on point with call ahead orders. I've never had an issue. The staff there is very responsive and hands on. This is the best Pollo Tropical I've been to.
