Poor customer service, especially the cashier Linda. I placed my order through the app for pickup at 4:55 p.m. and it arrived at 5:02 p.m. It wasn't ready. When I mentioned my order to her, she ignored me. She transferred me to another coworker who indicated it wasn't ready. It takes them over 5 minutes to start preparing the order. Once they're finished, she calls over someone who was bussing tables to finish the order. It took 17 minutes total. When I looked around, the restaurant had no customers, so with the terrible and slow service, the customer will leave. Like me, I will never return to that Pollo Tropical. I tried to cancel the order and couldn't, and the cashier, Linda, said there was nothing she could do.

This is not my local Pollo Tropical and the chicken was definitely smaller than the ones in Kendall, rice was dry, chicken a bit tasteless, staff was on slo-mo. Maybe they were just having a bad day. Place was very spacious and clean.

This place is like visiting a third world country. The staff doesn't speak English. The cashier got upset at me because I don't speak Spanish. I requested to speak to the manager to no avail. I don't recommend this place.

I recently visited Pollo Tropical on 7 NW and 57 Ave in Miami, and while the food was, as always, flavorful and satisfying, the overall experience was marred by poor customer service. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unorganized, which led to slow service and a lack of attention to detail. It’s disappointing because the food is usually great, but customer service really makes or breaks a dining experience. I hope they can improve in this area because I’d love to come back!

I live in New York now, but I grew up in Florida—and honestly, this is one of the few things I eat that instantly brings me back home. The flavors are so spot-on, it’s like a bite of my childhood. There’s something about the way it’s seasoned, the texture, even the aroma—it all reminds me of the kind of food I grew up on. It’s comforting, familiar, and incredibly satisfying. Living so far from where I’m from, it’s rare to find something that captures that feeling so perfectly, but this really hits the mark. If you’re from the South or have roots in Florida like I do, this might just take you back too.
