“I’m very pleased with the authentic flavor that came from each dish. The Puerto Rican flavors were bold and fresh. Almost felt like I was back at my Abuela’s house. There aren’t many places in Miami that I can count on for a meal like that. The ambience was nice, and the service was quick! “I made the mistake (?) of ordering the amazing “Chuleta Kan Kan” while dining alone. This beast of a pork chop masterpiece was amazingly delicious—no matter where I cut into it.

Be prepared to speak some Spanish, or just try! Use your translation app—give it some effort. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even though they probably laughed at me and my order later.

As a bonus, it was someone’s birthday, and I witnessed some seriously native-level guiro technique—by a waitress who seemed to be a new hire. It was a great joy to experience genuine food and culture simultaneously.“
