For years we have been enjoying their cuisine and ambience. The plating of the food was gorgeous. The quality and taste of the items on the menu were reminiscent of a restaurant of much higher category. They WERE authentic. Seems that late last year those owners sold. Sadly, this new situation is more on the level of a mediocre food truck. The entire experience has taken a turn for the worse.

SEPTEMBER 5 2024 I HAVE COME BACK HERE BECAUSE OF HOW GOOD I FELT WATCHING IT PREVIOUSLY. WE GOT NOT A GREETING, WE SAT WHERE WE CHOOSE AND WHILE TWO. GIRLS IN SHIFT CHANGE DIDN'T LOOK AT US, THEY IGNORED US. THE OLDER LADY SAYS THE ONE WHO ARRIVES IS THE ONE WHO GREETS. I WILL NOT RETURN AGAIN, LOGICALLY WE GOT UP AND LEFT BADLY EDUCATED. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Wonderful restaurant. It is small, cozy, wonderful music, videos of Cuba on TV, quiet atmosphere, exquisite food freshly made, very friendly owners, they make you feel at home, very familiar. Although when you arrive at the Puerta del Sol Plaza shopping it is not at all pleasant to our eyes, but be sure to visit the Puro Sazón Latino restaurant, you will not regret it, when you are inside its atmosphere transports you to Cuba and its food to that of your home. If you ask me, will you come back? We will answer YES. Thank you

Sad update. Restaurant has new owners. Tried to order two things off the menu and they didn’t have either one. They had loud music playing and lots of staff with no customers. We won’t be back.

I went with my wife because of the good service and food on other occasions. BUT WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. When we entered there were two girls and an older woman sitting. The crowds were “squaring the box.” No one greeted them or told them where to sit. Anyway, we sat down and NO ONE ATTENDED. We decided after waiting a reasonable amount of time to leave and one of the girls said, Look, they're leaving. I replied yes, it was incredible that no one had even said good afternoon and the lady said that whoever arrives says hello. It seems she doesn't know that the host HAS THE OBLIGATION TO RECEIVE AND ACCOMMODATE CUSTOMERS. I don't know if it will be new management but I do know that they lost clients and I will give my new opinion to those I had recommended. I just hope you see so that this bad experience is not repeated with others.
I wanted to try them out as they appear to have good reviews however they don’t ever answer the phone to place an order. Not sure if they closed down or what but can’t reach them on the phone to place an order and can’t order through Uber or door dash. If business is open then they should be answering the phone or updating their phone number on Google.

My food had a whole sticker on and they refused to give me a refund unless I gave them back the food which was already tried by me (supposedly they wasn’t serving it back again, but I doubt it). Horrible customer service overall and the worst thing is that it was the owner of the place which was telling me all of this and with a whole attitude too. They make the mistake and then get mad at you for asking them to do the right thing, never coming back.
