I was there on December 28, 2023, and everything was wonderful,Today March 31, 2024. I ordered a family snack and what a surprise I was, when I uncovered the lid to see such an ugly and poor presentation, bananas and cassava destroyed, and overheated,The rib was burnt and dry, the order was a family snack and it didn't have even a chopped chorizo, you can tell that it had been prepared for many hours,It cannot be that due to the lack of a person to review what goes out to homes, the good image and reputation they have earned will be lost.Conclusion, quality and presentation must be the same for home and local consumption.Thank you.

I went there because my wife had a cold and thought a sancocho will lift her spirit. When I got there, they had a sign promoting the chicken sancocho. Went in, got a table and when we asked for the sancocho the waitress said they ran out, why would you have a sign outside the restaurant if you ran out of it!!!???by the way I like to hear music, but they play music very loud... forget a quite diner.

We went to Rancho Mateo a couple of weeks ago, it was seven of us and sat outside because the live music ? was too loud, the ambience is nice, the server had zero personality and was rude and the food lacked flavor, we ordered a chuleta, a large parrillada and a consomé 1 margarita refajo and other soft drinks, the total we paid was $219 that seems really high will not be going back at all.

Very disappointed today with the cuisine, we ordered chunchullo, chopped meat, broth, among others. HeChunchullo was served with leftover fried potatoes and patacon, we ordered the chopped one in 3 quarts and they served it too cooked, the pork and the very tough beef, we complained and they changed it for an almost raw one, in short from end to end, we are both customers of Elizabeth like from Miami but after today the motivation to return for lunch or dinner with family or friends is gone, very sad that they change like this!

A very nice place to visit, helpful attention when you enter, they quickly place you at a table, the girls at the counter are very friendly and fast, the food was delicious, the chicken breast with onions was very delicious and the Cali chop filled our expectations, being us from the city of Cali, the sancocho very good flavor and the rib meat is soft, not hard like in other places, good for that, in the end we were just waiting for them to offer us dessert or a coffee which did not arrive from the the waitress who served us, but everything in general was very good...

We ate and the waitress forgot about the table, we finished eating and 15 minutes passed and no one showed up, but before that another table with 6 people sat next to us and no one came out to serve them, so I decide to go to the bathroom with my children to wash their hands and oh surprise the group of 5 waitresses including the one at my table in a nice conversation talking about their things, one of them was arriving and had all her makeup on the sink counter and it was quite uncomfortable to use it, they didn't even move I returned to my table and the waitress did not appear and when I was going to pay at the register and pack my food she appeared running, took the food away and ran the bill, more people came out to clean the table, I paid and when I was leaving at 6 People from the other table got up and left at the same time with us with a face of hunger and disappointment that made me sad.For me the food was good, but the lack of attention and reading the other comments made me refuse to return. The absence of a coordinator, supervisor or manager who takes care of and ensures people's attention is noticeable. We are in times where going out to eat is almost a luxury and special moments, so take care of your work and respect your clients.

What a disappointment! They damaged the quality of the food too much, it is incredible that I paid $20 for a lunch and got beans that taste like pure canned beans! For God's sake, don't be usurers. At least if you're going to charge a lot, you have quality of what you sell!
