One of my favorite Miami-Dade parks that brings me a cascade of wonderful memories going back to my childhood. Quiet and scenic locale with plenty to do. Great bird watching location during migration, especially early in the morning.
The entire park is beautiful. The boat ramps are good but they need to have someone to supervise the parking for cars+trailer. There are many inconsiderate drivers that park wrong occupying two spots; then the marina has to close for lack of space. The bathroom behind the store where you buy gas, ice and drinks needs lots of TLC.

2. Boat ramps and plenty of parking.
There are also emanates at the marina.
3. People of all ages can come and explore nature here their is plenty of places to fish from the shoreline and in the waterway under the bridge that spans it. This is a safe park.
