My kids and I are new to Miami and we have no friends or family here since I moved here for work. So instead of cooking, I decided that we would go out for dinner on Thanksgiving for the first time ever. We were so excited. I had heard great things about Red Rooster and we were excited for the experience. When we got there, we decided to eat in the outside part of the restaurant. It started to drizzle, so they put the activated the roofing (not sure what to call it exactly, but it was something that went above the outside area to shield from rain). Despite the roof being used, the rain was leaking through heavily. We moved out table inward. My kids weren’t getting wet but my back was getting a little wet. Like small drizzles. It was bearable. I asked my kids if they wanted to move inside, but since they actually liked hearing the rain especially since they weren’t getting wet. Before long, the floor began to flood slightly. There were definitely 1-2inch puddles on the floor. Still not a big deal. The deal breaker was when we saw 3-5 of the HUGEST roaches I had ever seen in my life crawling within 2 feet of our table. I notified management and they moved us immediately. The food was okay, definitely not worth the price or the experience though. The staff was friendly and accommodating given the unfortunate circumstances. They gave me 25% off but even that wasn’t enough to me. I paid it though. I’m really disappointed. I feel like our Thanksgiving was ruined. Maybe I’ll come back one day. I’m so disappointed I didn’t have a good experience and I’d like to have a better one. My kids, however, do not want to come back. And I don’t blame them. The staff was very nice but the staff experience was pretty disastrous.

Red Rooster never fails. Lots of tasty options, even for my wife who is a pescatarian, there were many seafood options. Food was hot and tasted fresh.

Our server was excellent. I don't remember his name. The food didn't live up to our expectations. The oxtails were overcooked, the rice was undercooked and the collards had too much acid. The bread basket, shrimp & grits & catfish were good. It was a little disappointing. But we love Marcus and will continue to support his restaurants.

This place was surprisingly great! I had heard the food was good but this place has amazing food. I really enjoyed their signature cocktails as well. They have a parking lot right next door so the parking issue is gone. I highly recommend stopping by.

I was very much looking forward to this celebration of our 39th anniversary. Unfortunately, they fell short of my expectations. I'll start with the appetizer. It came out to late for us to enjoy it before our meal was served. So no slow eating, no small talk discussing the likes or dislikes. They did say it had hot sauce on it but we couldn't taste any. They needed salt also. The meals were served to us in a rush, they just threw the plates on the table and ran off. We had to position them in front of us. While they continued to cater to the kids eating for free. I had the hot honey fried chicken. I asked for dark meat, which they only half accommodated. They served a thigh and a wing. The wing had more meat on it then the thigh. In the end I guess the wing was the best of the bird. I wanted more meat on the thigh piece but it was all bone, I kept cutting where there should have been meat but there was non there. Telling me the quality of raising the bird was last on the agenda. The last cut close to the joint had blood seeping from it. Under cooked and I was intestinal sick the next day. The mac & cheese was cheeseless, I was dumbfounded on the lack of main ingredient. I opted not to eat it. I tried but I wanted cheese with a macaroni not buttered noodles. The pour couronner le tout of the evening was the "influencers" at the table next to us, using a bright spotlight to video and shoot their food. We had spots in our eyes the whole evening. I understand they want new business, the place was devoid of anyone below 40 years old, except them drinking from a punch bowl and being catered to like they were they ones spending their hard earned cash to eat at their establishment. Influencers should not be scheduled during a Saturday. They should be scheduled off hours like professional photographers are, so they do not interfere with the paying customers. I was a paying customer and my food and service lacked for their food and attention. Would I return? No.

We had a waitress Shawn that was a delight! She was so professional and informative about the menu. She is such an asset to this restaurant! This was our second time because the first time we did not get to try the fried chicken! We loved the food! Ceasar salad and yucca fries are a must! Loved the fried chicken!
